Cali Connection seeds any good? I plan on doing an outdoor grow possibly directly in soil, if not then in grow bags. Im gonna buy the seeds from Natures Green Remedies and unfortunately there is a limited selection with the fem seeds. Anyone have any experience growing Cali connection seeds? im buying possibly 818 Headband or Strawberry OG

do a search in this forum on CC. the vast majority will be negative but if you got the time, space and money to run a few packs, deal with hermies, you could land a great plant. it is a huge gamble and having been burned a few times already, I would never roll the dice again. but that is just me, others have had some success with CC. I would suggest to look at other Breeders...

I had 818 before. I got the regulars and I was not badly disappointed. I think that the regular seeds are more stable. I had more trouble with their less popular stuff like green crack and blue dream. Just expect to find a few unstable ones in a pack... That should be his guarantee!

Only get the CC if you have other plants that are your main plants. You have to dig through a lot of marginal plants to find a golden one. There is plenty of fire to be had but there are troubles along the way if you don't prepare properly.

damn, the only reason I wanted CC is because it looks like theyre the best on naturesgreenremedies.com.

The selection for fem seeds is:

Cali Connection
Irie Genetics (Never heard of them)
Jordan of the islands
Sin City Seeds

I wanna order fem because I will only be planting 1-2 plants outdoors and cant risk them being male because I only have one shot at this.. Id rather take my shot at female or hermie.

NGR is doing a promo tomorrow for 15 free Girl scout cookie cross seeds with an order over $45 and i dont wanna miss that. Even though the 15 are regular seeds I still might want em for later.

I'd go with Sin City myself

Just my luck that all the sin city fem seeds are sold out :(...it doesnt seem like this guy can keep up with the demand of what hes advertising because everything is sold out. I dont like that. Makes me wanna go back and deal with attitude but they dont take Credit cards anymore and the transaction and shipping would take forever and i need to get started asap

well you could just roll the dice, you might have to pull a few of them or just pick off the non-desirable parts. the latter might be hard for outdoors if the plants get too big. JOTI has some decent gear also, which I would definitely consider.

Ive heard the Buddha Tahoe OG can be nice, i got a freebie 6 pack awhile back and been hesitating to pop em due to all the hate Ive seen around the net on the genetics and swerve himself. I've done 4 freebie regular GSC from CC and one turned out to be female, it was a tall lanky gal , grew it outdoors aswell.. I was surprised how resistant to mold it was, had a few rotten days and it was getting chilly at night. Not a spot anywhere if i recall correctly. It had really orange hairs and a lovely purple hue coated every bud. THese are my only inputs as like i said have always been leery but have occasionally seen some top notch plants.

im trying to be suuuper cheap since im broke now basically lol...Miracle Grow has this new organic soil called Nature's Care and its $8 for 1.5cu ft and OMRI Certified organic it says. So i think thats my best bet. I read one guy had good luck with it. I was considering growing directly in the ground but I saw some pics and videos of how large plants get directly in the ground so i might wanna rethink it. But maybe not because I can probably keep the height down with topping and LSD.

Just watchout there are some soils that contain sewage.... I couldn't believe it but it is true.
