same here, same light. I set it 24 Inches above soil for veg, and when plants are 12 inches flip and raise light. Same here, any closer and it starts to bleach the leaves.

do you have the vegmaster, full, or bloom booster model? i am using full cycle which i believe is geared more towards flowering because it has lots of reds and only a few blues and white

I think smart pots. Not to sure on correct name. But they really work. Just more air to the roots

That looks really great. The only suggestion I can make is set up a drip system. Are you using coco?

It's a grow medium. They crush coconut husks, rinse it, and bag it up. It's a little late for that anyway. You can hand water coco, or put it on a drip system and feed it multiple times per day for super fast hydroponic growth. (coco coir)

Maybe try some on a test plant sometime. Either way that looks clean and beautiful. I just started using that trellis netting. That stuff is great isn't it?

Here is my liberty Haze she was grown under California light works 440w last week of flush. Could of been bigger but had issues with nutrients

Under 150w LED (50w veg + 100w Bloom ), both switched on. AK auto is the one at the left, ww auto on the right.

Advanced Platinum LED 150p btw.

It probably has to do with them liking a higher %Pfr (caused by the smashing the red).

I honestly don't know much about the leds used in that "comparison", but the DIY stuff we're building with cxa, cxb, and vero most likely blow it out of the water... Their results seem to totally so slanted/skewed with DE HPS performing so poorly, like they're purposefully trying to make it lose.

Another shot across the bow of "street lamp enthusiasts" ... not that I have anything against them or their work, but the future is pointing in a particular direction. I particularly like the part near the end, where it looks like the fan is blowing the stem and it blurs, like a Quay Brothers animation...

I'm new to this, but it is interesting to me that the plants under LEDs needed more water and nutrients. I could guess at why that might be, but is that normal for LEDs?

And all newbies should watch this video, just to see the plants get thirsty and then come back over and over. Might prevent an over-watering or two along the way.

Think it really come a down to density. In my experience leds cfls t5 to can all grow the goodies but in maximizing density and crystal production I think a combo of led and hid is best. Leds blue and red help in the last couple pf weeks of,l flowering so I wouldn't just use a hid
