if it was easy everyone would do it. work implies the lack of ease lol. Thats all good work though. my worst was an indian mkt300 teacher. I choked in class on my water,high of course, then she proceeded to yell at me continously while i was choking until I could talk. even then she made me leave lol. Well digi key email states 4-1 is new delivery date for the cxb, the old timers know what they are talking about, digi key sucks at supply chain, or cree. whomever it may be, you sir can suckit!

Just checked and they're now saying 4/10 instead of 3/20.... I'll be calling Monday to see if that's all orders or just new ones... I may have to swap to CXA3590's but don't know if I'll be able to run 3 off the single ballast still...

I have also had an e-mail off of digikey stating my 24 cxb3590 will be in their dock on 4/1... I stated i would only wait 30 days so we will see what happens

yea, they are cheap, 160 for 4 or something. I ws told I cna run 2 cxa on my 1050ma meanwell but it would need to be pushed down to 950ma, they are dimmable. I got them in. I am literally just waiitn gon leds. @FESTER665 did you see kingbright may get them in sooner? I contacted them and they said tops 15 days shipping lead time... if not theyd refund me.

I didn't see that. I'm going to be waiting for Mousers delivery because Im using my work account to get price breaks...

I may just get some cxb3070's and run them on the original heatsink, and then get a new one for the cxb3590's and add them in later...

I know.... I explained this all to Realstyles in his KB thread... I get company pricing because we do so much business with them as well as discounts on the drivers. I'm more comfortable working with companies I've been dealing with on a daily basis for years..

Let us all know how it goes if you end up going with KB... I'm sure they're a great option for many of the people on here, just not for me.

All I know is I'll have my cxb 3590 3500k by the end of the month and I don't care it's your money and don't get mad I was only trying to save you money.

I'm not mad in the slightest....

I still haven't talked to my rep since the dates changed online, so we'll see when they get them. No need to worry about saving me money... It's all a wash after my price breaks.... I'm paying more per LED, but less on the drivers, holders, and no shipping.

Hopefully everyone starts getting theirs soon, it sounds like the delays might be on Cree's end with all these companies pushing back their dates.

lol dont fester to much resentment now. lol KB is 51 a pop and thats pretty low even comp to bulk discounts. btw KB seeeems to be the prefered method of most fo the peeps in here cause they are cheap and thats where mouser and digi are waiting for their shipments from anyway, china. lol for all we know maybe fester would rather pay a higher price t oget good ol customer service peeps who sepak english or isnt as uncontrolled as ordering from supliers in china. My prefrence includes the supplychain distributor that provides the highest levels of transparency and integrity. As long as you are clear and I can be clear to make the best choice for me and you so no one wastes or capital. As I have stated, et al old schoolers lol, Digi wasnt clear and its normal for orders to be pushed back w them.The more we support the best scm firm, the better it is for the collective. quanitiy provides the availability of discount more readily then hassling w bargaining.

I wonder if they do L2L over sea of plane. If we shipped air vs sea, we would def get them before others. just all subtle things most people dont think about but could really be why we are waiting longer.

I'm not able to give out our pricing, I'll just say after you factor in shipping and price discounts on the other items it's a wash...

We get deliveries daily from either Mouser, Digikey, and Newark so i like to deal with my vendors.

Hopefully everyone gets their parts soon and we can start seeing builds...
