not gonna say a massive amount here, Aurora Indica cfl grow with 6 x 23w at the moment (may upgrade to higher wattage later, i'll play it by ear.) hoping for a 3 month turnaround, 1 month 24/0 veg, 2 months 12/12 flower.

day 1 (23rd july): seeds planted after papertowel germination

day 4 (27th july):

plant 1

plant 2

got them from pickandmixseeds.co.uk, they came from nirvana originally (they put some of the nirvana package in to show you).

highly recommend pickandmixseeds.co.uk btw, i got them 2 days after i ordered, very well packaged, top notch service. and you can order as many or as few (down to one seed!) as you like.

i ordered 4 and all 4 germinated, but i messed up in the planting so only 2 sprouted. it was only ever my intention to have 2 mature plants i just hope these two are females.

im even going to try 'the banana religion' :D

29th july, day 6, plant 1 seems to be coming along nicely

plant 2 seems to be going nowhere fast (hopefully lots of rootgrowth going on ready for a spurt!

Dude you got more of those seeds? I strongly suggest growing at least 2 more, I would hate to see them both end up male. 2 more plants will double your chances of a female. Id start em now before these 2 get too far ahead. Just my opinion, looking out for ya.

sadly not, i started with 4 but messed up the planting so they never sprouted. ive got a good feeling about these girls tho!

thats right, these girls.

Keep the positive attitude man, and keep those fingers crossed. Id love to see you end up with two females but the odds are against you.

cheers, as long as one of them is i'll be happy.

just a quick pic of my ghetto setup too, that cardboard has mylar undernieth which folds down flat on top of the frame to reflect back down. once the plants have grown somewhat im going to replace at least 2 of those blubs with those big 150w CFL's.

can you guess where the other 2 plants where originally :D

as you can see, quite a difference. as far as i can tell ive treated both seedlings exactly the same.

anyone know what might be going wrong?

ive decided i cant call my GIRLS plant 1 and plant 2 anymore, so ive called them Athena (godess of love) and Demeter (godess of the harvest :D)

bigger girl called Athena (cos i love her)
smaller girl called Demeter (cos i want her to grow up big and stong ready for harvest :D)

anyone able to help me? does it sometimes happen that seeds are just slow starters?
have you checked your tempeture... the second pic looks as if the leafs are curling up cause its too hott... btw if it is the heat u dont really need that many cfls at this point... just put 2 6500k up, one over each seedling and ull be good for a couple weeks tell you figure your temps out

Hey man thanks for stoppin by my grow. Your ladies look good. As for the one lil one, yea some are just slower then others and take longer to get into full swing of things but now it looks like your on your way. My temps sometimes in my box reached over 100' but I never changed a thing, just made sure I watered them often and Ive since added some Co2. Anyway keep it up!!

day 16, transplanted to bigger pots, i know its a bit early but the roots had nicely wound round the bottom of the pots and the lack of drainage was causing rootrot, but the bigger pots have loads of drainage so i decided to transplant early. plus the new nutrients from the fresh soil should help with the new growth.

im also going to buy two 125w or 150w cfl's this weekend, im looking at at least another month in veg.
