OMG you are so right. Although I set him up for the hate. I own four 5w Mars II LED lights plus two Mars old versions for clones and loving it. I sold my four 1k Galaxy Ballast 12-2-2014 and they're made in china like all ballast lol.

No, you keep saying the same shit, and I keep repeating that those lights are junk. You keep bringing up some shit about car accidents, like it matters, and then you post the same pics over and over. There's no hate, just observations from using the lights, and reading your posts.

If you already bought a generic LEd they by all means go ahead and grow bud with it the best you can. But if you are in the market for a new lamp, we are trying to help growers get the best bang for the buck. The main problem with generic LED is that HPS performs equally or better (cheaper and cooler). It is not to say that you cannot grow bud with generic LED, only that it is a more expensive and hotter way to get the job done. These LED lamps (hundreds of different models on the market) use relatively low efficiency LEDs and they run them hot with a poor thermal path, to the point where in many cases they literally burn out. Burning out should be unheard of when it comes to LED. These LEDs are much lower efficiency than HPS so they create a lot more heat/dissipation watt.
So what about generic LED vs quality commercial LED. When you look at the actual power dissipation (which is overstated for the generics), and look at the efficiency of the emitters, it may actually be cheaper / photon to use a quality commercial LED panel. The thing that makes the quality commercial lamps superior to HPS, they use relatively high efficiency emitters and they do not overstate their dissipation power. They are open about the model and bin of the LEDs that were used.

No no no stop being a sales rep and show me the lights. I use to be in industrial tool supply 50% was made in china lol. I used to sell Meineke, Midas Mufflers back in the day as well as Machine shop, Plumbers, Electricians and Etc. Just because some people can't grow with what ever why can't I can? I had bad growing conditions growing for the dispensary and I still turned out great meds.

Chinese companies that sell no-named diode's are in it for the volume, money, etc, not the quality. You present yourself as savvy consumer, yet, you can't get past the hype of these unknown led's? Why is that? Please research, you will change the tune of your thinking.

The biggest problem I have with these lights is I don't have enough of them. They work bottom line. It isn't my fault you guys don't know how to grow. Growing is like cooking not everyone can do it and I do both.
