What is NYSD? You mean NYCD? Like Soma's?

I can't say I agree with you that NYCD is mediocre..

NYCD is Sour D x Afghan/Hawaiian. (not a cut of Sour D)
ECSD is Orig D x DNL (supposedly a cut of Sour D)
NYPD is Aurora x El Dorado (Not Sour D at all, Nirvana Hackery)
I don't know honestly I thought the cutting of ECSD was chem D x super skunk.. It was the dank, I have smoked NYCD and I didn't like it as much, but that could be due to the grower or whatever. My partner has NYPD and it's a joke...

I went and prepped my spots today... the first two pics are of the spring ill run irrigation from, the others are my plots. Soil is fire. Threw some organic fertz in there for safe measure...
All the ACE thai's will go in the soil under CFL's as soon as they arrive. These are for more personal use so I probably won't clone any, so they'll go outside as soon as temp is good... the critical kush, guanabana, and pure afghan will be cloned out of the ass. The long grow season here gives me plenty of time to clone and get them girls out there for harvest. Hopefully I get a thai male. I would love to pollenate the indica dominants. purple haze thai X afghan sounds like it could be a nice combo.
I have Shoreline x Herijuana x Chocolate Thai pollen about to drop in the next couple days

Doing some homework and I've seen a lot of questions about when to plant or harvest, so I figured I'd share the info... spring equinox is March 20th. Fall equinox is Sept 23rd. Which means the light to dark ratio will equal out, 12 and 12. Then the days will wax or wane. Last spring frost is Feb 28th and first fall frost is Nov 25th with 50% probability. This winter is predicted to be wet and cold. Late summer is supposed to be dry and warmer than average... and worst of all a wet harvest. Sept and October are supposed to have a lot of precipitation.

These are of course predictions... farmers almanac for South Central Texas.

I set up my clone/mother room... underneath in the rest of the closet may eventually become a flowering room (which I'm sure it will). I made my potting soil up. For seedlings and cuttings, then a stronger mix to transplant or flower in. I have the soil curing in the tub with black plastic. It should have a month or so to balance out fertz and microbes... Ill just flush it a few times to make sure its not to harsh for the plants. seeds should be here next week... I may run to a nearby town to pick up a few seeds someone has, in promise of a few clones. That'll give me seeds quicker and broaden my selection. Supposedly northern lights, OG, and strawberry cough. We'll find out I guess.

I will be putting some out this spring over here in cajun country. Beside a bean field:)
you an Acadian that walked to far west? I've got creole in me so made me think about my youth when you said cajun.

I'll probably try a couple of plants this spring...any suggestions? deep east texas

Will be my first go. I mean the basics. Get it as big as you want\can and put it in the sun it should take care of the rest. I will be putting out short plants in the 24 in range for a 28 to 30 in finish. Fast low stretch, low odor ( this could be fun i tend to keep the stinkers )strains from the moms i have.

I'm planning afghan.. Im hoping to sex a male guanabana or northern lights to cross with the pure landrace, then use the seeds for regular grow season... I've never bread before, well intentionally. Is there a good way to induce males, like irregular light schedule

If they go long enough they will drop pollen but 12\12 will get it done. Just a floro tucked away works great.

God damn.. this one is resinous.

No flash photography there.. it's just really fucking resinous.. it actually sparkles a little bit.. strange.

The breeder tells me these plants have the early amber gene.. it produces amber trichs around wk 5.. not degradation amber.. but amber.. giving it a unique cannabinoid profile.. with some cbd..

That'll keep your lungs busy... nice little plant
I packed them in, 7 under a 600hps.. it performed PERFECTLY.. I think we got about a LB under that 600.. improvement for sure.

The KF is still new to me.. I think I've found what it wants though.. it does tall thin, single column plants really well..

the pic really didn't do justice.. this one KILLED it..
