Pass it when you have a big load in your 160 and you use the 220 and 190, it usually means that the plants where taken at their peak and not early and/or that the genetics has big size trichomes, both case spell QUALITY.
Often enough you will get super bubbly in your 160.
Cherish that bag my friend.

Really?? I tried once making a personal pizza with 7g of nugs and I really didn't feel much :-/ Maybe I'll try this again with dry sift made with trim.

It might be 'blonde' but that really doesn't say much.

In all likelihood it's got a ton of contaminant in there, but yes.. it yields well if that's all you are after.

Tahoe isn't that far.. bout 3 hours. I wouldn't mind heading up for Halloween again, fun times.

Do you really make a ton of mess? My cleanup was only one towel and a couple of paper towels. I am still new to all this of course but I think I would prefer dumping buckets into each other rather than playing with dryed ice. Wife came home and didn't even know anything had been done. That to me is success!

Blonde is the color. What kind of contaminants?

Dry ice freezes the material.. making the capitate stalks and green matter fragment very easily. The capitate stalks are 'blonde' as well but you do not want them in your final product.

When you touch flame to it, does it melt and bubble? Or just burn? If it does not melt/bubble up, it is not pure.

Just throw the dry ice in the bag, let it chill a few minutes and shaka shaka. dry ice is like a buck a pound. Then I throw it in the flower room when Im done;)

It just burns. I have 3 stages of shaking that it gets greener as I go on of course;)
Let me smoke some real quick...to confirm it bubbles, burns or melts (edit)

Yeah.. if the first run doesn't even melt then for sure it's full of contaminant.

Give my dry sift tutorial a quick read through.. you might dig that. It's on the main page a few down.

melting and bubbling has to do with soluble terpene oils that are present. That's dependent on genetics. It has nothing to do with quality.

Prove it. Show us a 70% pure dry sift that melts and bubbles.

Resin glands melt. Capitate stalks and green matter do not. This is pretty simple stuff.

I've been making 95-99% sift since around 2003 the same way.. and it's always been full melt. It's only when you start getting dirty sift it starts to just caramel up and burn.

If there are strains out there that can go to 99% purity and not melt, they aren't very common, or you would see that being the case left and right with people making hash. Last I checked, pretty much *everyone* who was growing fire was getting full melt out of their bags and such.

Purity absolutely does matter.. if it didn't, people wouldn't bother with multiple bags or methods of acquiring clean medicine. They would just use the 220 bag and then dump it all into the 73 or whatever.. YIELD!!!

Purity does play a part, and if you do not believe so then I suggest you explain exactly why, because this is simple.
