Great way to die! The chit dont play.
I was changing a A/C unit... flipped breaker marked A/C.
Pulled wire THRU Conduit, and bam could not walk tore all my muscles in legs.
1-2 yr with the attitude u have.Lucky for me the breaker tripped a 60 amp!

My dumbass broke num1 rule trust someone with your life.
I always check with a meter even 24v. less than a amp can kill ya.
I will definitely take that into consideration, I said Im going in with blind faith. Thats not necessarily true. My brother already has done this but with a 60amp. I have a trusted a HVAC guy and my brother has a master electrician. Im not doing this alone, there is no way in hell I would attempt this by myself. We are going to do it right, and hopefully I can translate what we are doing. So people have a better understanding on what to expect, if that makes any sense.

Dont want legal here.Would kill me op`!
I agree. Not rec, but medical would be nice. Anything other then what we have now, would be nice. I am more about decriminalization then legalization. But then again Im not in a rec state, so I really have no idea. I agree Colorado is flooded with trash, but legalization has already effected the prices in the surrounding states.

Thats bad ass snaps. Your living my dream. I was told about 8 years ago if you want to make a killing in this game, become a licensed electrician and move to Colorado and earn your trust and you will be successful!
I

Great Idea. Everyone I know has me wire there grows. Not a fire or melt down yet, knock on wood... :)

It's probably not too late. Obviously not as good as 8 years ago. Who's legalizing next? That's the move, oh wait it's looking like it might be Oregon, and i'm already here. That could be a good thing. Most my experience is in wiring larger comercial grows and I love it.

Alright after doing some research for myself, I kinda gave up. I am having my HVAC guy come out tomorrow and set it up. But my brother and I, are doing all plugs and the timer. When the HVAC guy comes out, Im going to take notes and help him, and hopefully be able explain to yall what we are doing and why. He said he would charge $400 to hook up the sub panel. So basically we wasted about $60 on the wire. The HVAC guy said he would not have gone to home depot to buy the sub panel because he can get it cheaper. He also said he was going to use a insulated wire.

Well because I have never heard of them. And I googled spiderbox's and I dont think they make one big enough for what im trying to do. And they are kinda expensive
You sound unsure with some doubt.. No matter ..you're set on the subpanel. Just thinking about a plug and play solution for ya.

So how does a plug n play work? Im assuming, you throw a breaker according to the amps you need, run a wire to the light box? With conduit and everything done right. That sure seems like the logical thing to do. But we have already bought all this stuff, and I want to learn for myself how it's done.

probaby not what you want to hear but i would recommend a professional electrician to do the set up if you live in a medical state where it wont send up red flags. my currently 6000w room has 125 amps dedicated to it, two 20 amps in the veg room a 20 and a 15 in the flower and my hids are on a 50 amp dedicated circuit hooked to a 8000w lighting controller. this allows for everything to run without placing more than a 70% draw on each one to avoid wear and tear and fires and allows me to add in lights and a small dedicated ac if i want.

the only thing i didnt know how to do was my electrical and I am very glad I had a pro come out and wire it, I live in a duplex without a fire wall in the attic and have a good relationship with my neighbors, not sure how long that would last if i burned their place down
