The federal laws regarding pot and guns are still the same, whether pot is legal in your state or not... So ya he was right you do give up your second amendment right when you choose to be a caregiver fyi.
PS when I read your first post and your confusion of how they got to it I instantly had some mission impossible shit pop into my head lol
Lol at mission impossible, I found the spot they climbed over the fence it's been fixed

knowing there are cartels out there and other scary mofos... this dude knows you me thinks.
I would think the same but I just don't know anyone out here, I'm thinking the dude at the hydro store might a tipped off someone

I didn't fill out anything, the day after I got my colorado mmj I bought a shotgun...legally in a store after passing the background check
Really? Maybe that federal form just applies to certain types of guns then I dunno.
If I knew for sure I could own a shotgun and also grow weed legally I certainly would.
I've been under the impression that you can't own any firearms and grow weed or your legal status just went away.

I disagree. I am 100% legal. In fact the day after I got mmj card I bought my first gun.

lol.. then you obviously don't understand STATE And FED LAWS.. anyone who has a MMJ CARD.. and a LEGAL GUN.. now that's a completely illegal SITUATION....

I think Illinois is the only state that is trying or has already stopped the ban .. making it legal for mmj patients to have a legal firearm.

and this is coming from someone.. whose friends have med cards.. and 2 of them have applied for guns.. and were DENIED.. and then 1 .. got his med card... and the sheriffs department came.. and made him remove his gun from his home. giving it to a friend.. or they could take it.

"A Richland medical marijuana patient recently applied for a Concealed Pistol License, but was denied by police.
Medical marijuana is legal under Washington state law, but the federal government won’t make an exception for that when it comes to getting a Concealed Pistol License.
Richland police sent the medical marijuana patient a letter stating that federal law prohibits anyone who uses a controlled substance from “shipping, transporting, receiving or possessing firearms or ammunition.”
And even if marijuana is legal here, it’s still illegal at the federal level.
When anyone applies for a concealed weapons permit with Richland police, they have to follow these federal restrictions."

Sorry for the off topic, but Velvet Elvis, where did you hear rain drops damage tricomes? You got some misinformation there.

must not be that much rain there either. I usually attribute outdoor tasting like outdoor due to the windswept dust, and the residue in rain.

not only due the rain drops damage trichomes, and get them all sogged up, the rain has dirt/residue in it. just like how it leaves dirt marks on your freshly washed car after it rains.

indo smelling like outdoor? no excuse
@danknugg I hope your situation is worked out now. I doubt anybody is dumb enough to rip you off if you're shooting guns all night.

regardless of your right to defend yourself as soon as you take up with a federally controlled substance and have guns it is furtherance of drug trafficking with a firearm and uou stand to have 10 years added to your sentence. You guys keep bringing state law on this issue, fed trumps state law all day and they will have their way with you if you find yourself in a federal case.

Im not trying to be a dick I love guns too but after I read about a kid in utah who had a 12 ga in his gun safe and an ounce and they were throwing this charge at him. The next day I took my shotgun and 100+ rounds of target load for skeet shooting and got it the hell away from my grow.

it sucks.. because in reality.. we should be able to defend ourselves.. but.. the government looks at it like marijuana is still illegal.. so having drugs and guns together is illegal.

Illinois is the only state I know of that is trying to get this changed. and even then.. if the feds come in.. your fucked.. so it don't really matter..

but.. in reality.. Buy a DEWALT M16 NAIL GUN.. can shoot nails 200 yards threw a 2x4.. and IS LEGAL TO OWN AND HAVE near a GROW or with a medical grower lol.

I hear ya it makes no sense but then again when we're laws designed to make sense... nail gun, you get +10 on the awesome scale for that idea, will be picking one up shortly. Brilliant!

so did the guy at the pawn shop who sold me a shotgun messed up and not have me fill out the correct paperwork? because I was definitely a medical marijuana holder before I was a shotgun owner. Both in CO

who cares about legalities, how could you live with yourself if you killed someone over a few grand worth of outdoor.

indoor maybe, but not outdoor haha
No difference, it's the principal, hes coming into my yard, where I live, while I am there, and then stealing. More than once, REPEAT OFFENDER

I would also appreciate you expanding on the raindrop causing damage theory if possible.

sounds like someone was out hunting and ran up on your grow then came back. i dont know how many times ive came up on someones grow while out hunting. could be the guy next door too, out for a walk and found your grow. never use a gun, were haveing a hard time holding onto our rights to bear arms now with all the shootings going on . just my thoughts.
