if he came back with PCP in his system, i certainly would have thought it possible.I am all for arresting Brown and letting him have his day in court, even if the outcome is jail. too bad that is not going to happen

My point is the eye-witnesses you seem to be putting so much stock in have been partially proven wrong already.
The eye-witnesses that corroborate the cop story are not going to be going on the news announcing it for their own safety and the cops are not going to publish their names for the same reason.
We have a 6'4 270# guy which is the size of a professional football player. We have him on video committing a strong arm robbery from a 7-11. Within 10 minutes of this he is walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic and gaining the attention of a cop. A conflict ensues where the cop sustains injuries to his face and by most reports his gun discharges in the car. Then the victim and his friend decide to run but for some reason the victim flips out and decides to rush the cop.
The cop has been on the force for 6 years and has no incidents on his record.
What seems to happen is that people get a story in their head from the initial reports of an incident and they dont want to be wrong so bad that they will discount all information that proves that theory wrong as time goes forward.
The narrative has changed from a week ago and almost all of the information that has come out has been negative toward the victim.
He didnt deserve to die for stealing a handful of cigars but the cop has a right to defend himself.
Another tragic incident that will permanently destroy both lives.

That was the last shot that hit his FOREHEAD, not the top of his head as you misstated. He was probably falling forward due to the multiple shots he had already taken.
