bag seed, first grow. what's your thoughts??

Well I don't know loads about growing.. But know that Obv 4 oz from an outdoor plant is very realistic.. I'm just hoping for a half oz.. Any extra is a bonus! lol..
But yours have been vegging alot longer than mine. Mines only 6 weeks lol..
Might be a silly question but where did you notice your pre flowers first? I'm checking like every 2 days and can't see nothing lol...

Where abouts in the world are you?

Preflowers usually show like 3 nodes down on the tops first. SOmewhere around there And then they work their way down the plant.

Hi mrpoo tang, the strain I grow always show their sex on the 7th node and they are very hard to spot on some strains. Hopefully you can pull an oz off her. :) good luck!

I'm on the west coast of Canada.

You mentioned your plants came from bag seed- without knowing the strain it's hard to determine when it should start flowering- last year one of my strains did not start flowering until mid-August (though this year a male just popped balls yesterday July 31).

You might want to consider cutting back on the frequency of watering: I have read that you should let the soil dry thoroughly between waterings. I agree with what was stated earlier that you want to dilute your nutrients for the first few feedings.

TLC (tender loving care) can be as detrimental as too little attention. Good luck with your plant and take copious notes- they will help you out with your future grows.

I think I've spotted couple preflowers today.. Was gonna get some pics but it's been prising down.. Think there showing roughly on the 6th node :D

I working mine out by presuming.. That it should roughly start flower 10-20th Aug.. Flowering for 7-10 weeks.. That's what if got in my head as a rough timeline..

I've cut back on the watering Abit now.. Was fed on sunday, transplanted straight into the ground on tue.. ( I watered the hole with small amount of nutes before planting) and lightly watered on tue.. It's now Friday and I've not watered or fed since.. But it has pissed it down today...

Still getting some yellowing leaves..

Any ideas to this??
Normally n deficiency but it's been fed.. Will post some pics.

Okay so I've checked It over again this morning.. And it's a girl!!

Got about 4 different sites on the plant sprouting female preflowers and little white hairs!

My Concern now is the lower part of the plant..
Going yellowy brown.. Starting to come up the plant..

Ideas??

my bottom ones did it to turned yellow but plant seems to be fine...i figure its just putting more energy and power into flowering and other shit there just fan leaves not really needed i suppose anymore

Just worried I'm either feeding too much. Too little. Watered too much etc etc.. Lol bottom set of leaves have now fallen off..


Guys am I right in saying a plant will double / triple size in flowering? Cus mines only still 10" tall.. About 6-7 nodes. Topped.. Would the end result 20-30" be a small yielder? Or will it grow bigger outside? Cheers
