organic flushing question

Hey I just flushed a week ago because I thought my plants were ready. Now using a 1/4 dose nutrients this week do I need to flush again before harvesting? Used 1/4 dose so I don't think it should matter but wanted second opinion. 50% amber now

a) No need to flush
b) CHOP those mofos down! 50% amber is already past the window of when those should have been cut

I was told even with organic nutrients you need to flush because there could be nutrient buildup. I use general organics marine nutrient and biothrive veganic. Just biothrive this last week 1/4 dose.

50% amber is very ready, wouldn't worry about flushing at all.

Awesome thanks for the advice everybody sorry if I posted a redundant thread. Owner of the local hydro store told me I needed to flush. But I wanted to chop, glad I asked you guys. Fruit Automatic - Dinafem is now hanging on my shelf. Smells awesome.

I would be very leery of any further advice from Harry the Hydro dude.
If he told you that you need to flush an organic grow, he's got his head up his ass.

I like to trim before dry.
Much easier IMHO.

I've done both ways, you preserve flavor and slow the curing process by leaving the leaves on. The leaves wrap around the buds and protect it from air and trap all those juicy oils/terpenes for a fantastic flavorful frenzy. The trimming isn't as easy though I'll admit. But its worth it for terpene retention in my view. I noticed my nug smelled crazy when I would trim, its because those oils are being released and opened to the air. Now they go straight in the jar immediately after trimming to keep that smell! Everybody says my stuff is way smoother/better tasting now.

You heard wrong.
Flushing is a fools errand in a chem fert grow.
In an organic it is even dumber - even the pseudo-science behind the flushing crowd cannot possibly apply to organic.

Again, Harry the Hydro dude is a dumb ass and woefully uninformed for even suggesting it.

I very much disagree with this. Still more hydrostore mentality about not 'feeding' before you chop. 'Never give your plant anything' is way too vague. I give my plants aloe water, coconut water, etc past 4 weeks. I would even top dress after 4 weeks depending on how the plant looks.

I took this to mean no "chemical liquid nutes"
If that's the case I agree.
