Looking for a few plants that I can plant outside around the house. I need them to help mask the smell of growing weed. Im in the eastern US. I heard there were a few herbs and so forth that worked great for this. Any help?

I don't know of any plants that can mask the strong and unique smell of growing cannabis.

I have heard of people using cedar shavings as bark to mask the sent.

Are you growing in a closet or in a room? I have a buddy that is on probation right now cause he had his plant in the kitchen. Even your best friend loves to talk about the guy whos growing. Just be careful. I dont think any plant on earth smells as strong as cannabis though

Coriander (cilantro) has a really strong smell and it repels spider mites and aphids.

Sage is strong smelling, plant it near rosemary and they will benefit each other

Chives smell strong

Mint is good, but you would have to clip it with a weed eater daily to release the smell ( there is Mint, Spearmint, peppermint, lemon mint, many different scents and flavors).

Also catnip is a good one.

HAve all those growing as we speak. I also have the chocolate mint which is excellent tasting, and the orange mint.Sage is really strong, so watch out. Patcouli is usually only found at nurseries.
