Could you feed your plant straight up fish oil? A capsule contains 2400mg of oil which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The product has no color or flavor, no preserves, no sugar, no startch, no milk, no lactose, no gluten, no wheat, no yeast, no shellfish, or sodium. Selected from deep cold water fish, mercury free. For human consumption says tak 2 softgels one or two times a day.

- EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) 2400mg (2.4g).

- Total Omega-3 Fatty Acids 720mg.

How many would you give a plant and how would you deliver it. Is ph different?

Thanks!!!!!!:hump::joint:

I would venture a guess that most of the "Lookie-loos" are looking in (like me) for a good chuckle. Fish oil capsules are a great dietary suppliment, in fact, I take 2 every day. They are beneficial, for the most part, because of the relatively high amounts of "Omega-3 Fatty Acids" (whatever the hell that is!) they contain. A doctor (M.D.) suggested I take these, I hear about them all the time in various "Health Articles" and I buy them at Walgreen's Pharmacy. The point I'm making is this: "They are good for human consumption!".

Why in the world would you make the leap to even consider that a human dietary suppliment would be beneficial for a plant? Here is what you really need to do; go look up the word anthropomorphasize (not really sure on the spelling).

Most all plants, Cannabis included, require up to about 16 basic nutrients for health, vigor and just to live - let me assure you that "Fish oil" or "Omega-3 Fatty Acids" is not one of them!

I disagree with all the neigh-Sayers I cut open 3-1200 mg gelcaps an squeezed the oil into 2 cups of water and distributed it evenly amongst my three seedlings that are about 3 weeks. And they have grown like crazy in 48 hrs....no harm at all...it's not water soluble, correct, but the fish oil absorbs into medium, I'm only doing it 1x per week, and watering like normal the rest of the time like normal. Just be careful, the first gelcap I cut, I popped all over the place and...holy fish stench!!

In the summer I bury fish carcasses about 1.5-2ft under my soil. After the fish decomposes over the course of a few weeks i plant directly on top. 6ft-10ft monsters every time. Im guessing there are a shit ton of worm castings after a few weeks. Not to mention all the nutes from the fish itself.

Im not too sure about just the fish oil tho. I would imagine that it would not be too effective. If you want my advice go fishing or hit up a local fish market to see if theres anything on clearance loll.. I bet you could find some cheap catfish.

Plants do not recognize lipids as nutrients.
