yes that 8% extra is mainly fats and wax that come out when winterized. if your not going to do that, a quicker wash sacrificing some yield will drastically improve quality. I finish my extracts at about 30° and would never let silicone touch it, it's also extracted whole. fresh frozen is my preference for terp retention

so then the strain i got 18 would only really produce 10% and the 26% is really only 18%? i don't believe that.

While I admire your ambition, I don't understand what this^ post means.

Wholesale ozs of GOOD wax will run at least 4- 6 bills each.

And you say..

But lets be realistic, seriously...

Making that” killer wax” takes time and patience...

Taking shortcuts in this market, you WILL fail, I can assure you of that.

When I'm asked to make wax for a patient it's under the stipulation..

It will be ready when I say it's ready.(within reason of course)

If you want killer wax, the extractor must be passionate about their work.
Patience is a prerequisite of passion my friend.

It is very unlikely that the 8 hour turn around time will produce your POUND of killer wax.

Now, if I had 8 vacuum pumps with 8 chambers to match...
I don't know, maybe 3-5 days.
Or a few vacuum ovens.
^ None of this equipment is cheap, rather quite expensive.

To address the Original Post: Cost is anywhere from 4-600$ per oz, monetary value is contingent upon quality of the final product.

If you want the” Cream of The Crop” ” Top Notch”
Wax that passes Residual Hydrocarbon Allowance at less than 400 ppm...
Edit: Good, quality” killer” wax should be under 50 ppm,0-10 is even better.

Look to pay about 6 hundo each.
Possibly a small break in price for a full unit.

maybe you didn't realize, I'm in tx. there is no negotiation down here.. what I feel like charging goes, I know people pushing elite strains like one of my favorites, tarantula, for $20 a g all the way up.

anyway.. why are you even talking about this
if you have the cash, go buy some or better yet make it yourself since you know so much

lol was a rough estimate. and I do an oz at a time because this is all personal. I wouldn't blast 4lbs myself unless I had a set up to do so. I get 5-7 gs that last me 2 weeksish. and want a hook up so I don't have to grow nor make it myself the way it is. and if you were in texas and you say you charge 2k a lb your dumb or its just shitty. ive lived in texas a year and people were paying 60 an 1/8 of bud....with that market you could get atleast 4k an elbow.

I do enjoy. and when I do share my friends are envious. doesn't matter how I make mine because the bud is so dank and 100% organic it comes out tasty and colorful. they get it shipped in from west coast and mine rivals theirs. they get that for 50$ a g. and when I do sell mine its for 70 a g and they cant get enough. so it must be good if they can get for 50 elsewhere yet willing to pay 70.
