I too started with the "Go Box" and still have many of the nutrients. I did burn a few in the beginning, but learned to figure it out as I got smarter. I still use the Calmag when a plant shows it needs it (pretty rare).

I'm on a private grow site filled with expert growers and most use Jack's Classic. Some use the general nutrients 20-20-20, others use the Citrus FeED 20-10-20, and I use the bloom booster 10-30-20 and when needed give the plants a dose of bat guano (usually once during flower). It's all about learning to read your plants....and that just takes time to get experienced in doing so.

I feed EVERYDAY......1/2 tspn of Jacks to a gal of water. If the plants are in 12/12 they get 1/2 gal each with a bunch of run-off (helps clean out the salts). I use 5 gal containers to grow in. No nute burn, no lockout.....just healthy green plants till chop. It's really too easy...but if you look at any of my grow journals (the link below doesn't work) on my profile you'll see what kinda plants I grow.

your plants look healthy as can be really nice, but I bet u would get twice the yield if you doubled your pot size I did great with 5gal but it changed the game when I went to 10 an now im up to 32gal I think 25 is the optimum size even if you grow small plants the bigger root system is everything

THE BIGGER THE ROOT THE BIGGER THE FRUIT

and I was having to water every day with 5 gal and it seems they flower fast in a 5 gal but the yield change is dramatic the wet dry ratio is lengthened in bigger pots so it gives them that extra 24hrs or more so you aren't constantly watering.

Im feeding them 3x than flushing 2x and im watering em every 2nd day cuz they drink alot of water.. NO SIGNS OF NUT BURN SO FAR... Using Atami bloom c, Atami bloombooster, Biorots, Plagron pure enzymes, small ammounts of bat guano 1x-2x a week ... what u think bout that?

SOME NEW PICS WITHOUT HPS ON END OF WEEK 4 blooming

Big pots are great...I wish I had the room for them. I'm actually playing with the idea of going the other way.....1-3 gal pots, flip to 12/12 after 2 weeks of veg (from clones) and 25 plants in a 5x7 grow room. My goal (I never hit my goals) is to have 12 plants put in one month and another 12 plants the next. If all goes well....ha......Every month I would pull a lb from my 5'x7' grow room. This set-up is all about quick turn over (total of 10 weeks from clone to harvest). The secret is to find a strain or strains that will be ready in that time and yield between an ounce and 1.5 ounces.

cuz with my 12 by 12 room we pull 4-6lb so half that we would probably get 2-3 hypothetically

an we get 4 to 6 off 8 or 9 plants

i water every 2nd day so it means if i water today i wil not water tomorrow but after tomorrow i constantly check the leaves how they doing as i learned how to see when a plant is near underwatering just by checking the leaves And didnt have a single underwatered plant since i put em into flower.. had a different watering schedule before switched to bloom.

an that's under 1 600hps this time im tryin 2 with a co2 bag

It depends on strain. Indica-doms I do between 6-7 ounces per plant, sativas around 5 ounces per.....sometimes less (some of my sativa strains are not known for being big yielders)
How do the pics above look? To me the plants photoed with hps off from 40cm distance look bigger then they really are , is it always like that no matter who takes photos of whatever plant? i mean are buds always looking bigger on pics?

u are going to be happy if you wait the whole time never go by how many weeks I go to radioshack an get a 15dollar handheld microscope an make sure the trichs are 50-75%amber that's the most importiant part. the buds can be tiny an as long as u wait long enough it'll still knock ur dick in the dirt

People who did grow mataro blue told me it took em 10 weeks for the thrics to turn 5-10%ember and specially if u grow em from seed it takes a bit longer 1 week more than what the breeder claims cuz they usualy start budding after 1 week so if the breeder claims it takes 60-65 days it takes between 70-74 days to fully mature... I was told that by a friend of mine who did grow matero 2x bud now he's gone abroad and cant help me anymore :D

How much amber...if any at all....depends on how much couch-lock you want from your buzz. More amber = more CBD's = more couch lock. I used to chop at first sign of amber, but the last few I harvested chopped at mostly cloudy (no amber) and found the buzz more uplifting and pleasant. Keep in mind.....even after chopping the plant's trichs continue to develop. Going with mostly amber (amber actually is a sign of THC degradation) means that by the time the weed is dried many more trichs have turned to amber. Look at your trichs after drying to prove it to yourself.
