Holes in leaves / yellowing + curling of leaves

Any idea what this is?

Plants were planted from seed on 3/3/14.

My Berry Bomb is showing little holes. Almost looks like bugs to me, but have yet to find any..

A few other of my plants are starting to have their leave tips yellow, curl down, develop small blackish/brownish spots and eventually die..

your plants look pretty good. i see a little burn on the tips but the leaves are pointing upward in some pics and plants are green. cut the nutes back by 25%.

are you feeding every time you water?

They just received the 2nd dose of nutes on Tuesday. First dose on Tuesday before last. They are in 7G Felt Pots and when I do water them, I give them all 1G of water each. At the moment, I've only needed to water them once a week due to the size pots. I'm sure as they grow a bit more, I'll be watering more often.

So to answer your question, I am only giving them nutes once a week. I was unsure if I should be giving them nutes every watering (my first grow) and I've read some say nutes every watering then others say once a week.

Your suggestion?

Have been giving them 1/2 the dose listed on my above link, but I was thinking the same this morning about cutting back on the nutes.

Is there one I should cut back more than the others or just all of them?

Where is your water coming from??

I initially started off using my well water. The pH was 8.0 (of course I adjusted it) in this with a PPM of around 300.

So for the past 3-4 waters I have used bottled distilled water from the store.

Thats gonna end up costing you money but at least your ph will always be on balance. If your in a field get a 10-50 gal drum and save rain water.. or just stick your plants out on rainy days.. plants love rainwater

I live in the country so rain water would be easy. How long can I just have the rain water sit in the bucket before I need to clean it out? Or can I have it just sit in there forever? Should I install an air stone in the bucket? (I have one sitting around) And does rain water ph vary or is it set like distilled?

Wish I did this yesterday. It rained like a mofo.

Im cleaning my rain drum now.. its gonna rain tomorrow. . Air stones are great. Ph is perfect if your in the country and because you ARE in the country ALL the rain by you will have organic minerals and trace elements since the water was soaked up by natural earth.. miami water... now thats a different case. Rain water can sit yes.. just make sure you have a air tight seal on the top to keep bugs out and use a PLASTIC container. . Black is best. Rain water can be used throughout the whole grow.

Thanks for the input man. Going to get my hands on a drum and start collecting. Will probably go the distilled route until I get enough.

On a side note, I just sprayed some neem oil mixed with some degradeable dish soap on my plants. Buddy of mine recommended doing it.

I think tomorrow I will give them a shot of plain distilled water and then hit them with a dose of 25% less nutes on Friday/Saturday and see how that works on them.

once a week is fine until the plants can take more. you have to realize when you give them straight water after a feeding they are still getting food thats left in the soil from the last feeding.

and your well water is fine, just ph it. no need to buy water. I feed giant outdoor gardens off well water and i don't even PH it.

leave the plants alone and stick to your feeding schedule except the next feeding do 1/4 strength and then back up to 1/2 the next week.

remember with soil plants it takes a few days before you will see any changes. so don't overcorrect because you don't see a difference right away. as long as new burns don't show up your fine.

You can give distilled.. thats fine.. id say no nutes.. they look happy enough with what they have. When a new node forms id give a little if any of whatever you are currently giving. And neem oil and dish soap are an excellent shield/coat for them. They dont absorb either so it doesnt affect anything.. just keeps pests away. If you DO get pests... just subtract neem oil with the hottest peppers you can find.. 6 peppers per gallon.

Just use plain water for now until they recover cracka. Stop worrying about that bulllllllshittttt.

everything. like i said the plants look good. only watch the new growth.(new leaves) as long as they are green and no new burn then leave it alone

Whats going on with my girls temps 90F high 71F low General Organics 1x a week water twice 4x 600w HPS 10inch output 2x 4 inch boosters and 6 inch input 1x 4inch booster Cant figure out why their yellow

need pics, and the temps are high 90. but that does not cause yellowing.
