I didn't think I was quite at the 3 week mark until I looked at my calendar, time goes quick lol. I'm sure they have a little stretch in em but not that much. I mainly put the trellis up so when they do bud up they won't fall over. My gsc had to have every branch tied up so it wouldn't topple over but than again she was topped 5 times and almost 4 feet tall lol. But I'm hoping these get some huge colas and wanna topple over lol.

Sounds like you will have a bud monster! Lol

If all those somangos look the same than you'll be safe pollinating any of em lol. They look great man. I'm hoping to have some fat colas like those from this diesel. Is the GSC hype all over? People love it here in Cali but not everyone has good phenos.
Good looking plant grizzle. What week of veg are those?
I believe today is the start of week 3 of 12/12 and they're looking good. I had to trim some fan leaves last night cause the light wasn't getting in far enough. I'm contemplating getting a 1000watt for this tent than 2 for my new 4x8 but I love the small electric bill from the 600 lol. Does a 1000 have that much more penetration than a digilux 600 hps?

Yes a 1000 has more penetration than a 600. I run a 1000 in my 4x4 tent and there is a difference to the naked eye. I also run 2x600 I another tent.

Looking good! I want to get g.s.c. seeds for my next round, I'm very interested in that strain.
Don't mean to burst your burble but the cali connection gsc are not the real cut. If you don't believe me read the latest hi times article about the cookie family. I'm about to chop my 5 cali gsc this weekend and I'm done with them. Mine unfortunately I hermied on me. Yes it could be user error but many others have have the same issues...

I read that also, I heard the thin mints were the closest to the original. Is that right?

I figured it did but wasn't sure if it was worth making the switch to a 1000. And I'm not able to run 220 so having a 1000 running off of 110 would be a bit more pricey. I'm not sure which pheno I had but it's nice smoke and an ok yielder. I don't know if I would want to grow it again though, it took just under 11 weeks to be done. I'm really liking how the purple diesel is coming along though, I think the stretch is just about over and she's finally opening up. I'll get some pics up a little later this evening.

Day 23 of 12/12 and they have made quite the journey since I started em. I finally brought my ppm's to just under 1000 and they're loving it, I don't think I'll raise it too much more.

Are you sure about your count? The reason I ask is that on 3/16 you posted pictures and said it was day 3 of 12/12. By my count that is 14 days ago putting you at day 17. I don't think you are quite done with the stretch if I am right about the number of days you've had the lights flipped.

Looks like I may have an in to a legit GSC cut. I will keep you posted on whether it comes thru.

I just looked back and realized I've been looking at two diff numbers. I wrote a number for each day and thought that was my days of 12/12. Today is day 17 of 12/12. Thank you for catching that biglittlejohn. And I'm also glad to hear the stretch won't be done than, I procrastinate an hadn't moved the trellis down yet but I don't think I will have to now.

Nice! It's an awesome smoke and grows very quickly but the colas are all on the small side even at the tops.

Most of my plants don't stop the stretch until the 27th or 28th day I've found. Glad you posted the picture so I could help. I had been meaning to tell you when you first started talking about lowering your screen.

It seems like the stretch has slowed and almost over though, they're staying just under the trellis line. The two front ones on the ends aren't doing so well. Super droopy leaves, they may not be getting the light but it seems to be shining down there fairly well. I'll get some pics up in a little bit. And I thought about adding something but the other plants are doing so well I don't want them to uptake anything extra.

I wasn't aiming for a scrog this time around, just wanted something to help hold these ladies up when they get a little top heavy. They're coming along great so far, today is day 25 of 12/12 and they're finally starting to pack on some weight.

Chopping Somango today. She developed those spots during the last week and I didn't dial back the nutes enough at the end, as you can tell from all the burnt tips. Here is what she looks like:

Overall, I am pretty pleased with this plant. I know the adjustments I need to make for her clone that I put into 12/12 last night. I think my estimate for yield for this lady is probably going to be very close if not right on the mark.

Looking good! All the hard work pays off in the end! Hours of trimming ahead! Lol

Damn those plants are doing great! How long until your gonna chop em down? I was thinking about running 4 dwc buckets when I get a bigger tent and have the other half be my flood and drain. Here's some pics from tonight, I believe it's day 35 or image.jpg image.jpg
