Mr I Can Do That For Half
Ill check back in to see how this goes. Im thinking the 2 limiting factors here are your using only a 5 gallon bucket which is pretty small for a plant that you want to be huge I would have gone 20-30 gallon res for a 1 lb and then your only using 600 watts which means our going for over 3 grams per watt which might be a worlds record.

Are you sure that you know how many grams are in a pound ?

will be harder with indica strains but can be done fairly easy they will just need more veg time
the last plant i pulled down was 15.5 oz blue cheese just shy of 1lb
i did not try to grow it large with only 3 weeks veg the genetics play the major part in its size

it started off growing looking like a hybrid but once in flower it exploded in size
and took on a sativa appearance

Blue cheese 3 weeks veg 10 weeks flower

peace

definitely doable in a 4x4 with a 600. I usually go for 2 plants to make up 1.5 under a 600 in a 3x5 tent so you should be good to go. I'll definitely keep an eye on this one. Good luck.

Hey man I just read through and caught up. I love the idea, and the setup! I was really looking forward to seeing this thing fill the room. I have to say I was disappointed you flipped it to flower so soon. It might be an illusion but it looks from the pics like you have a good bit more screen space you could have used to let it get bigger. Either way she sure looks happy and is gonna yield a nice batch of buds I'm sure :).

Your absolutely correct sir and this is why. I have a sativa cotton candy kush (on the left.) And another island (on the right) that are quickly filling my veg tent. I had to throw early to prevent having to kill one for room. If this won't do it one of the next two will. The cotton candy I pulled 1/4lb off one plant letting it grow regularly in a 3gal smart pot of coco. No lst, fiming, or topping. So without a doubt I can get it with her. This is my trial run as because I've never grown monster plants like this before.

I completely understand flipping when you did man. I only meant it from the regards of maxing space. Its honestly gonna get much better air flow with a little extra room. A few years back on here a guy named Natmoon ran a 4x4 scrog in soil. He ended up putting a second plant under the screen just because, but the big plant he had vegged under the screen pulled I wanna say 13oz if I remember correctly. It was cool. I don't know if the search function is working yet but Natmoon had several cool grows and techniques.

Dumb Question. In scrog like that how do you change the Res. can you get the bucket out of there??? i'm new to DWC

I have it set up with a hose that is used to drain connected to the bottom of the bucket. I refill by pouring the nutes through the net pot like a top feed.
