Nnectar for the Gods nutrients?

Well this post is old as dirt... I currently run the whole line of Nectar, every last bottle and must say for my first real incursion into the organic growing world I've not seen plants like this ever. I used to use Advance nutrients Jungle juice, since receiving nectar sample's I will never go back to chemical bottled ferts. If you follow the Oregons only organics feeding schedule made by customers and use a PH meter I don't think you could ever go wrong with their line.

i have to agree, i have had excelent results from my very first grow. Never had bitches that werent goddesses lol... mr.nice cm :)
heres a copy of a post of mine someplace else on here. maybe i could learn something from someone on here, or someone can learn from me.

i use the whole line. 2nd time around now, taste, and smell second to none. no exaggeration! i recommend doing the HH flush before going 12/12 and again a month into flower, also i recommend feeding a little extra, not because the nutrients lack but because you really are pouring quite a soup into your pot (whole line, in soil) and theirs lots of left over from the last feed. getting enough run off is very important. also, if your in soil let your soil bring up your nuts ph. dont feed at 6.5, feed lower and let the plant eat as the feed works its way up a few points on the ph scale. veg i feed at 6.0 and flower at 6.2 and keep my dirt at 6.6-6.8. do your HH flushes at 6.6-6.7 to re-buffer your soil. Those were important factors using NFTG in my experience.

I agree somewhat to the flushing with HH before flower I just ran a strain that locked out molybdenum for a while cause my ph was too low, It still turned out great but I started loosing leaves a little early in flower and also I'm using old recycled soil that I could have flushed better before I started using.. Oh well still no complaints just another learning curve

I now run a mix of Supersoil at the bottom with a top 2/3's of roots organics greenlight mixed 50/50 with botanicare pure earth. I decided to buy all new soil for this next batch but will continue to re-use soil in the future. I just needed to get a good base soil started in these first few grow's

i think we are at similar spots in our learning curve and we are both using the full line. we could learn lots from one another, i sent you a friend request.

im using a peat based mix. some stripped down sunshine product. its like 6.9 out the bag and fights hard to stay around there. it works well but i feel like it could drain a lil better. thinking about trying coco, or at least adding more pear light. thoughts on dirt types?

Seriously that roots greenlight has like triple the amount of perlite in it. I love it it drains so well Like every 3/4 days i'm watering and man these girls are drinking. I'm mostly in 5gal fabric pot but have some 6 gal nursery containers too.

How do you mix your Nectar up? I kinda make a soup in a 5 gal bucket with an airstone, and I feed every watering at full strength with no ill effects.

i have a big 20 gal container i mix in and yea, just mix it up and put it on. anything i cant use i discard. nothing is mixed for more than 45 minutes before its used. yea every feed, plenty of run off, like 40%+, no ill effects. and im in 7 gal nursery pots....

I had someone ask me about those nectar of the gods.. He wanted to do organic hydro... The site and bottles are pretty vague with ingredients. According to ODA they do have candium and arsenic.. That can be chemy or it can be from natural resources. They don't specify.. In my experience the majority of so called organic bottled nutes, those companies tend to lie about ingredients and whether or not they are truly natural organic.... botanicare is a synthertic that claims to be organic.. except for liquid karma that is organic..

I'm just trying to find out what I can for about these nutes for homey... Personally I don't use bottles.. I do rols. make my soil mix and top dress nutes and castings and make my own castings and compost.. That won't herlp dude with hydro..

if too much in a foliar can burn a plant or kill it.. that doesn't sound organic to me

I can't say for sure, the website doesn't say 100% organic but the manufacturing process speaks really well of the company and how green wise they are. I believe they shoot for 100% Organic I mean their name is Oregon's Only Organics. I haven't noticed any burn whatsoever but too much of anything can be a bad thing.

TK

I use titans trawl with my hh when i do flushes

they are both bone meal, but dont try to sub HH for TT, still gotta use the HH. But its more food for the plants n microbes while waiting a couple days for another feed, and it gets salts out and the calcium bonds making new molecules the microbes will eat and feed to plants.

I was just given a box full of these nutes and I am pretty excited. I currently run advanced Jungle juice and always thought of switching. It's just hard to decide because I never seen final product while running the nectar of gods. I am also confused on how you use the bloom khaos, on you tube the head guy says don't use it without using the rest of the line because deficiencies will occur. But I'm pretty impressed if a product can make a plant absorb that much faster.

Ask and I'll try to help, what's confusing you?

I grew out a free gift seed I received with my order from seedsman. I only veged for 14 days then straight into flower... Just wanted to see if it was worth messing with, I'm definitely keeping her around!

Here's what she turned out like.... I chopped off 5-6 nodes before I remembered to take pix sry lol. Oh and I'm holding a pop can behind the main cola if u look close

Is it necessary to spray the bloom khaos that frequently. Every day to every other day just seems a bit too much to me. Also I am curious about the final product, trichome production, yield? I really like advanced but was always curious to switch to an organic line.

Don't think you'll see a difference in yealed between the 2, but smell taste and potency might b a different story. I only use bloom chaos like once a week, that's the only thing I leaf feed, until about 2 weeks into flower then I water it in with my nutrients cuz buds r already growing don't wanna get em wet

What about the ph up Whats the application rate for that? I mix my nutes in 5 gallon buckets, do think about a tsp per 5 gallons. Also I currently use earth juice natural ph down and up. Could I just use those instead since they're all natural.

It totally depends on the amount of their other nutes you add for how much ph up you need. The more Hurclean Harvest you use the more up you'll need I can tell you that, but as far as amount of olympus up to add I don't know your water's ph' but I use zero water thats ph'd at 9 before I add nutes. The best thing I can say to do is go by a cheap 30$ digital ph meter thats the best case scenario, if you buy a cheap add 3 drops and shake then look at the bottle for matching color test they can be hard to read the nutes make all the water brown and when matching colors it throws things off. Buy a cheap ph meter if your gonna use nectar for the god's.
I have nothing to say but good things about nectar, btw I used to use A.N.'s Jungle juice (lucas formula) and the taste, colors and smells, are out of this world on the same strains I was growing before only difference is the nutes!!! try em out before you just let them sit on a shelf. If your disappointed I'll give you my address and you can send me your leftover bottles.LOL

As far as earth juice up/down goes. I'm pretty sure you'd be fine using that, but it would be better if you used Nectar's up/down( seriously I have yet to use ph down with nectar) Nectars ph up is liquid limestone with added calcium which is definitely needed with this nute line especially if your foliar feeding. Read up on some of the other nectar for the god's thread there is good info about them out there just look for it!
