scraping pyrex

I hate scraping the pyrex dish. I hate it so much that I actually blast onto parchment paper lately. I know there is a million reasons why I shouldn't but my hands are tired. Anyone have any suggestions on how to scrape easier? I was thinking of just rinsing the pyrex with alcohol and then just pour that onto parchment, will that be safe?

I usually do scrape with a little heat. I just don't have the time in my schedule to scrape these pyrex dishes anymore.
When I do scrape I use a drywall puddy thing and leave a few grams in the dish. I hate waisting those few grams, they add up when you blast a master case of tane a week.

I never thought it was a big deal..isn't time consuming takes maybe minutes..a couple passes and its done...get a dish with hard corners. I lose less than .1 even with rounded dishes and leave it for the next batch

Use contractor larger razor blades rather than a drywall spreader and you will be able to scrape up more oil

I need some kind of handle that will not let the razor move and is comfortable as my drywall spackle, I have arthritis and my grip sucks.

Check out the XL tool or the XXL tool from Skilletools.

Works as good as a blade and you never throw it away.

There are other good ones to get the gunk out of those hard to reach corners too.

ISO tends to eat through my parchment, so I don't evap on that . ALL my winterized runs need to be scraped ..

as for bho, I still tend to blast smaller runs straight onto PP, , saves me the agony of scraping, and usually comes out very very clean.

I have found some cheap rectangular razor blades that I can bend, these work great for corners
also I use vise grips to hold my blades
when I get that lazy I just pour in some everclear to dissolve all the leftovers

woldnt mind having that scraper though blu

I was thinking of using some stainless steel foil I found. It's like aluminum foil except stainless steel. I figured, since we can use S.S. for extraction purposes, why can't I use SS foil for evap purposes. I plan to get some and try it out, kinda expensive that's the only thing. Plan is to spray into my pyrex dish except the dish will have the foil on it. Once the visible butane is gone, put in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and HOPE that it will just break right off as if it was parchment paper in the freezer..

Let us know how the ss foil works out for you, I might have to try that.
I just ordered almost everything on skilletools site, I should have a great scraper out of the order. Thanks everyone for the input.

If your foil has a polished surface, it should work. We freeze the Mk III Terpenator tanks and oil readily breaks free from their polished surfaces.

I've been hearing about this Teflon paper that oil slick makes. I guess you can blast right into it. Its kinda pricy though, 30 bucks for maybe 4 Pyrex worth. Idk if they are reusable or not though.
