here is real science from a real university in real life.... read up aim aim, alien widow, dubdub, orgrathrope, and who ever else i forgot, oh yea then come back and tell me they are wrong just like you told me right???...lol http://www.clemson.edu/extension/hgic/plants/other/soils/hgic1650.html http://extension.missouri.edu/p/MG4

and last how to lower your ph as so many of you say cant be done... read up and tell me they are all wrong!!! come on read read read...http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ss480

the fact is ph is very widely studied by real colleges with real labs and this is just 3 links..(3 more links) i know they are all wrong and completly fukt up to say you can change the soil ph.

Did you already admit that you were slightly overzealous about using water to make pH adjustments as stated in your opening post? If so good for you. I don't have time to read through 35 pages of what looks like a bunch of bickering, no disrespect of course. I read these articles and found nothing about using water to make effective pH adjustments up or down. :peace:

well the fact is that ph can be changed, and lowered, by sulfur, phosphoric acid, citric acid. although some of may harm beneficial bacteria, newbs like your self do not know how bacteria grows and most newbs do not have bacteria, mycelium in their soil. s

AS as you say water cant be used? mix some citric acid in a jug of water, mix some sulfuric acid in your water, pour water in a bucket of dirt, measure the ph of the dirt. You have just changed the ph of the soil with water, bingo!

I really wouldnt advise mixing sulfuric acid and water, but you got the point right?

Both of these are outstanding publications.

And they support your soil pH theory (Or whatever it is you are typing about) in what way?

I think you should practice reading and understanding what you're reading. You used the scientific reports in an attempt to validate your claim of using water to adjust pH. Nowhere in any of those articles does it say to use water, alone to adjust your pH. The use of sulfur, lime etc are used as soil amendments. I imagine that these articles fail to mention the use of "citric acid" in water for example, as an effective means to changing the soil pH because these are not used often in the context of professional gardening (longevity would be implicit in an effective pH solution) and are considered low quality ingredients to say the least. It's so funny how you keep referring to others as newbs.
You must know that a persons' speech patterns tell a lot about how they think and process information :dunce:. As far as understanding how soil bacteria works, all I can say to that is, "Microbe Man" "Teaming with Microbes" and "Heisenberg". To say most newbs have soil without bennies doesn't seem 100% to me either considering the availability of organic soils pretty much everywhere including Walmart and Home Depot and the high satisfactory rating associated with soils utilizing bat guano, seabird guano, worm castings and AACT all of which contain bennies - not to mention nutrients that contain these as well. bongsmilie Perhaps you should have titled the thread modestly like, "How to adjust the pH of your water" and let people apply the information as they see fit? :bigjoint: I'm bored humor me.

did you see your plants dude? 4in plants in 10gal+ pots... = newb just my observation thats all, this thread started saying you cant change the ph of soil period... then went to you cant change it with water,,, oh but you can change the ph of soil with or without water simple. you read the whole article?? lol ok sure you just read the whole thing right?

fat bitch slap? By saying that i pulled my pics off the internet? Ha! I take that as a compliment. Thank you you dumb bitch. I also think its pretty funny that you seem to think that the bacteria in great white will kill each other. More lies as usuall out of your cock holster. So your saying that mycorrhizae will eat each other? Wrong. Just plain wrong you menace. Cocktails of mycos are very common in agriculture and do nothing but benifit the root zone of a plant. Your stoned ass doesnt know a fucking thing about petri dishes, benificials dont feed off each other or theyd be pointless to add dipshit. Theres billions of em and lots of different kinds doing many different things. Great white and other bennys just grow a colony of fungus that improve the nutrient uptake you twit. They dont kill every other bacteria in the soil. Your pathetic attempt to chang the soils ph by running rediculously oposeing ph adjusted water through the soil on the other hand will completly destroy the soils sensitive fungal web that us real growers try and create. But you can keep on killing it by dumping dumb shit in there and blaming the bennies you douch. Google it you idiot. Your preaching nothing but bullshit. Every word that comes out of your mouth is bullshit cause you dont know fuck all. Im mean a two year old would come to the conclution that somthing called benificial would be just that, and not the opposite. Only you could be that incredibly fucking stupid. I dont even think you know what those bacteria do, because if you knew what they did then youd know what they consume. Like ive said and will continue to say, you are the laughing stock of riu you moron. Anything out of your mouth is a joke and totally wrong so shut your cock holster and gtfo.

you can change the ph of soil up or down. My theory is very very simple
This kills the bennies, keep telling everyone though. Someone is bound to tell you your smart eventually. Oh wait, maybe if you post a link to your grow theyll believe your lies cause you grow 35 strains you fool.

ok now on to citric acid, damn!! http://www.growthproducts.com/pages/horticulture.asp?tables=featured&product=64 citric acid in really strong doses like 5-10% can be used as a weed killer.... BUT in the amount were talking about 5-10 drops per gallon, just to be clear there are 90840 drops in a gallon of water so 5 or 10 drops, figure out the percent of that? keep it coming
I guess youve counted the drops in a gallon of water now, at least one laugh per post of yours. Your handle should be weed killer, or weed b gone. I always tell people to add stuff that is used as a weed killer in high amounts through the root zone, just like you ;)
