noone said anything about conversion bulbs...just you

the only "scientific" evidence I have is when I vegged w/hps and mh. The hps were leggy bitches and the mh were short and tight. Same strain etc.
There you have it Roach....a story about some "leggy bitches" LOL.

That's a feeling, not a fact.

My avatar was grown from start to finish with HPS.

FACT

lilroach made some great points.

See my sig line and then get educated. HPS contains the blue spectrum and MH contains the red. Both will raise cannabis. I know from experience. Your plants don't care. You and the hydro salesman do.

The hydro salesman seeing you coming as just another sucker bet will have you believe otherwise as he loads you up with conversion lamps, one of this and one of that.

Where guys like you go wrong is chasing down your source of information in cannabis forums....then comes the "aw shits" when you find out you pissed off your time "looking for love in all the wrong places...
where guys like you go wrong is assuming you know everything and trying to blast anyone who contradict your beliefs. that's a fact.

i am educated and really don't need to take advice from you. especially since your claim to fame is your avatar. no offense...that plant looks unhealthy as shit. that's a fact. and all your pic does is prove my point...that plant is about 3' taller than i would need to get the same about of weight.

if you think there is no difference between mh and hps then you don't even deserve to be in this conversation. then you go on to state that i'm making the hydro store guy rich. last i checked no one is getting rich off the difference in price between a hps and mh bulb. a bulbs effective life in either spectrum is the same. so how is the hydro store guy getting rich if i use an mh instead of an ups?

i don't get my information off this forum. i actually research it and base my decisions on experimentation in my grow room. i prefer to trust the actual professionals rather then guys like you. you've probably never been wrong in your entire life. you might wanna do some real research on this because you are starting to look like a complete ass.

these are my plants...not even 18" tall...6+ ounces per plant.

Like I pointed out previously, looks like they both are full spectrum lights to me. ;)

Decades ago I studied this (spectral) stuff to death, even played with photomorphogenesis. Realized how silly it all was after a professional gardener and his son did a high school science experiment using various colored lights on bean plants. Found out the plants just don't care. Most if not all bulbs are full spectrum and what you see versus what the plant sees doesn't mean squat.

For indica mutts, they sure look stretchy to me. I'd add a few MH in there if I was you. ;)
whatadick lmao

can't even give a compliment on an exceptionally nice room.

you are sad.

edit: while you were snoozing last night or thinking of ways to be a troll. I added 2k more light to my flower room. 50/50 mh/hps ;)

have a nice day:bigjoint:

is that your "research"? wow. you think you can win by putting mis-information up and hope we fall for it.

go on the hortilux website and check out the true spectral charts people. this information is wrong. or probably from the cheap bulbs that this guy buys.

I don't care what you fall for. You're not important to me.

And what's with this cliquish "we" stuff? You talkin' to that mouse swimming around your glass of Kool-Aid lol. :)

Thanks for making my case - there's a sucker born every minute. Son, I want you to run down to your friendly hydro guy, you know, the guy that stocks all those kewl Hortilux lamps with all that fancy (planted) graphs stuff, and make him a happy man hehe!

i'm good thanks. i take advice from actual growers. not self-proclaimed experts who are too dense to see outside of the little box they live in.

nice scooby, looks like you've been studying too eh? lol

what strain are those?
amnesia haze and sour diesel

lol...this guy has been up to it forever on this site. it's shameful.

haha...wait for it...they actually were grown with advanced connoisseur. got some and tried it out. liked it but not worth double the price over the sensi line.

No shame in that at all. I use Foliage-Pro in veg and Sensi-Bloom for flowering. Nothing wrong with any of that. Capitalism breeds choice. Sensi is JUST AS CHEAP in my experiences. I tried that FP all the way through bloom but I seemed to get better yield with Sensi. Experience trumps all other. You seem to have it all together!

i base my feeding on ppm levels of my nutrient mix. i actually did an experiment with another grower on here using dyna and sensi. dyna is cheaper by the bottle but not by much. when we did the experiment the advance nutrients was about 50% more potent. basically we added the same amount of both nutes to a liter of water and the ppm of advanced was a lot stronger. when we did the math it actually worked out cheaper to use sensi.

i'll try and find the thread later.

I knew it! I can smell these snake oil addicts a mile off. Am I good or WHAT!?
call me what you want but i like experiment with things and use the results i get to determine what goes into my grows. for me, the experimentation is the fun part. you on the other hand are like an old fart just stuck in his ways. i'm not a cash cropper trying to bang out 5 grows a year for the cheapest i can just trying to keep my plants alive long enough so i can harvest them. growing is supposed to be fun bro. that's why i grow more than just mj.

guys like you are comical to me.
