I'm 60 and I have a hard time smoking bubble hash and oli. I don't want to spend alot of money on one of these big water bongs if it doesn't really work. What is the best brand? Thank you match

The best brand doesn't mean it's right for you. Bubble hash I say just use a hand pipe and a brass screen, oil you can rub on a joint or get a rig. Any glass on this site is good Aqualabtechnologies.com Being 60 maybe a vape would even be better so your lungs wouldn't take a beating no offense.

Or look into a mini tube/ rig. Nothing over say 10" so you're not trying to clear a huge ass hit. I have a Zob circle perc that is pretty small and easy to clear. It's also A LOT smoother than my traditional bubbler.

A water bong does make it easier to smoke hash and oil...at least for me it does. I'm getting a dedicated hash/oil rig and have ordered a David Goldstein Rooster rig (you can also smoke flower thru it if you wish). I don't have it yet but it stacks bubbles (so should filter incredibly) like nothing else that I have ever seen. I also looked hard at a Mobius rig as it stacked well too...but it's more expensive and didn't stack quite as high as the Rooster. I'm lucky to have an incredible glass store near me where I can look at many different quality brands...and you can take a pull thru water (no smoke) on a piece to check it out. You can go on youtube and find some videos if you'd like to see.

The vaporizing idea may be a good one. Hopefully, you can try one before you invest. The high seems different and I'm not that enamored (but many people are)...but it's OK and it is easy on your lungs. Really, you should give it a try if you can and see if it's for you.

Thank you all for the help. I'm 60 and I have copd. 40 years of camel non filter was not a good idea. I could not find the zOb at the place by my house but I did pickup a true glass bong. Just that little bit of water helps. I will look for the zOb I think it will be even better. Can ya smoke hash and oil in a vaporizer?

And with a Zob, you'd probably have to find an attachment for oil/ vapor. Mine is recessed dewer joint (the joint is like an inny-belly button, not an outty haha), so it's not like a male to female oil rig.

I get my glass from Big Al's in Berkeley. They have a great selection and are very knowledgeable about their products...and yes, it will be a fritted disc. When I saw how it stacked I was pretty sure that I had to have one.

Yeah that's why I want one. But I live on the east side so our variety isn't as good. I could only find them on ALT and it wasn't a big selection. You should post some pics of it in Sr. Verde's glass Index thread

going to big al's today! trying to find something in the $40 range to smoke flowers topped with hash. thinking of a hammer, or a bubbler... trying to find the most efficient glass.. smoker on a budget lol..
