i want a custom piece. help me out...

i am looking for a 12" - 14" tube with a second stage bubbler, like an ash catcher, but with a carb on the tube. smaller diameter tube with a baseball sized base. anybody here that could steer me in the right direction... or anybody that blows glass that could take some time to give me a quote on price?

Hit up Allison at SSFG. Her and her husband own a decent size glass company, that most people into glass, will tell you... is one of the better brands out there. I own 2 of their pieces, a 3 pc rig (travel beaker, mini inline ac/perc and showerhead downstem), I scored for $150 and its HQ stuff. You would easily pay $250-$350 in a LHS for this. Its also my daily driver. If Ray can make anything with the best of them, its his inlines and that little showerhead (bubbles, bubbles, bubbles). Tell her I sent you. We're friends, I'm not making promises, but it helps. I get emails when people do and she's usually overjoyed. I like making her day. Pay it Forward, I always say. It always comes back around.

Don't know about the carb hole, though. Not many people looking for those on water pieces anymore, becase of slides. But, I know some manufacturers still have 'em. I don't know what would stop Ray from poking a hole in a beaker/tube/etc.

You could also hit up Grass City. I know they have a LOT of water stuff, with carbs on them. Pretty much anything over $100 there is pretty decent and a few items drop down into the $70s that are a steal. The Black Leaf Nautilus lean back, for one. Lots of stuff out there, fits your criteria. If you want something that's going to last and mean something to you. Hit up SSFG. No joke. If you want something that just gets the job done and can hold up to some abuse... look at Grass City.
