Mogie, sounds like you thought this out nicely. I would love to try out foxfarm's Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, & Cha Ching nutes. I have the original 3-pack, but would love to add these to my line up. I never hear you mention co2 in your grow, do you utilize co2 at all? I'm waiting on a delivery of dryice today, and be assured I'll be taking a 50lb block for myself.

It's actually kinda funny as I own a freezer truck and have no "real" need for dryice and the other guys are always asking me why I want the dry ice, as I dont need it. I just tell them my kids are coming over for a bit and I like to throw some dryice in the toilet to mess with them.

How much does that run you? and how long would it last? does it stay frozen a good while in a sealed container only letting out controlled ammounts(common air line)?

If and when I pay for it, it is $17.00 for a 50lb block. It'll last about 5 days, give or take a day. I place it in a styrofoam cooler, pull the paper down just a bit to expose a portion of the dryice, than open the cooler when the lights come on, close it near the end of the cycle. As far as the amount of co2 given off, you can't beat the dryice. It literally showers the plants.

Hey Green...Morning! For me it is cheap. I usually get it for free. I am going to experiment and see how one block effects my grow during vegging. From past experiences, I think it would be worth it, even if you had to pay for it.

During my last grow, when I had no fan whatsoever, during vegging, my plants produced nice, thick stems. and they were tightly spaced nodes too.

You are right though, to pay $17.00 per week for co2 is alot. The results from dryice though, are dramatic.

well, i got lately to the same conclusion that a bit extra CO2 increases grow in my room after i tried some yeast/sugar for a week but i didn't liked the idea of me introducing the yeast bacterium to my grow since i keep it really sterile so if i can get dryice cheap i will try it as well but for now i guess it has to wait a bit longer till that happens

Well co2 is alot cleaner than a home brew version, and defenitely gives off ALOT of useful co2. There also is no risk of spillage either. You should call around and check on prices.
