hello ya'll. im being forced to either top or clone the top foot canopy of my plant, its currently 7ft tall and cant really go any further to my cool tube due to light/heat stress. the thing is im 3 weeks into flowering, its 100% sativa and look to have at least~! another 7-8 weeks left.
Can i clone the top of my plant and just root the clone's and carry on flowering them with the mother?

i don't think topping is a very good idea at this point. you'd be better off tying your plant down.

I have some sativa going now and it took it 26 days just to show sex! I tied mine down when I put it into flower and that has helped alot. It is now a big bush.

I would not top 3 weeks into flower either but thats just me. I try to keep stress during flower to a minimum. However, topping maybe less stress than tying it down. One good thing, you are probably at the end of your stretch. Good luck.

ok, ive already been tying it for the past 2 weeks, ill try and tie it down some more... i really hope it wont grow much more in height, it does look to be filling out allot more......... and yaeee harrrrr! i caught that rouge slug!
