I used to use a 2 qt pitcher, but then i read that you need at least a gallon, about 2-3 oz of yeast and about 2-3lbs sugar, but despite some criticism it works, i ditched the 2 qt pitcher in the back yard, not really yard just small red rock gravel driveway. The yeast seemed dead but when i poured it out it sizzled like crazy! then a few dayz later the weeds that usually are not that big like 6"in, sprouted like 1 foot aroun that area, and they never get that big

I tryed this in my closet a month ago. I tossed the jug because I didn't keep up on it.

Copy/Pasted from the grow faq here at
http://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=...article&id=262

Use 5 or 6 cups of sugar in a 1 gallon container, make sure the container has a fitted lid. Add half a gallon of water to the sugar along with a couple of tablespoons of active yeast.Poke a small, pencil-like hole in the lid and place it on top of the container.

I don't really know how well it worked, it bubbled a bit when I shook it but I'm not sure what the difference would be between working right, and barely working.

But I feel like that is alot of sugar and I'm going to try a little mixture of my own based on some research. I'll have some numbers up soon. My cab is like 3x7 8' high. I'm gonna set up 2 gallon jugs and see how it goes.

Question about using this C02 method when you have an exhaust running....

Say I put the gallon jug in one corner, and in the other there is my exhaust duct pulling air out. Does the plant have a chance to absorb any of the CO2 when it gets pulled across the plants, or does it need time to linger for it to work? I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. Anyone else do that?

Co2 is heavier than normal air. It will sink if its coming in from the intake. It will tsay near ur plants ur plants will use it. It will mix with oxygen then as it heats up. Nature takes its way. Heat rises and goes away. But co2 is heavier and will stay down.
