Ok so after reading the other post about a mother Im still confused. Im getting ready to start my first grow and have been doing some serious research. From everything Ive heard you keep a mother plant in constant vegetative state (18/6 or 24 hours a day) lighting. So to start and keep a mother. Do you...
1)Start my beans
2)Veg under Mh lighting until proper height is reached
3)Switch to hps lighting and change to 12/12 until sex shows
4)Pull the plant I want to use as a mother and revert her back to constant veg lighting?
5)Then take clones?

Or could I just simply take clones off the females Ill be growing 2-3 weeks before harvest and use these?

just use the females you already have or will have.But dont use all of them man,get some weed!!!!

Plant your seeds. Grow them in veg until they are big enough to take clones from. Take a clone from each one and make sure you know which clones came from each plant. Through the clones in 12/12 and wait until they show sex. Get rid of the male plants you have, both the clones and the plants they came from. Now the plants that you have in 18/6 are all mothers and you grow them until they are big enough to take a bunch of clones off and you grow the clones. If the mother dies make sure you have another mother or clone to turn into a mother or you will have to start over. I hope this helped out.
