what do u mean flip?

Flip light cycle to 12/12 then is flourescent is what you want then first: what kind of flourescent do you have? If it a shop light like you get at lowes then you need another. light. next: if it is a grow light get some good lamps try a 2700-3500kelvin lamp you need to have at least 7000 lumens per square foot. length * width = square foot
Lumen's of the lamps are listed on the package. once you have the total of lumen's (prob about 3500lumens each) if you buy them at lowes or HD
so that is 7000 lumens if your area is 2*4= 8sq feet 7000/8= 875 lumen per sq foot not enough.

fluorescent light is not as powerful but can be used more efficiently because is doesn't have near the heat that an HID lamp dose.

So if you cant deal with heat stay flour if u can take the heat and cool your area with good circulation than try this
