Default Will this be enough light for seedlings?

Got 10 Auto AK47s germinating right now. I plan on transferring them into peat pellets once they're sprouting. My question is on lighting during this stage that they're in the peat pellets. I'm only going to be doing this indoor grow for about 2 weeks then I'm going to transfer them outdoors.

So I bought some grow lights at wal-mart. Here's the specs:
It says 75 watt light output, uses 17 watts of energy.
    Model # 7020-E GL 120V 60Hz 300MA,RB17T8GL OR F17T8/GL.

I searched online and one person said it has about 1200 lumens.

I bought two of these with light timers. Will this be sufficient lighting for the seedlings until I transfer them outdoors? Will I need both or should I just use one?

    Thanks guys.

Also, since this is an autoflowering strain, what light/dark ratio would be optimal for this period? 18/6?

    18/6 should be fine.

but those lights are only 17 watts, 75w equivalent, i know your only going to have them indoors for 2 weeks (I start mine off indoors too) but thats only a total of 34watts of cfl you have and you would want them to grow as much as possible in the first 2weeks, I say but a few more cfls

So what would you (or anyone else) suggest? How many CFLs would be optimal?

ive seen people grow one plant on a 40 watt cfl but for a few id say get a few,im growing one plant under 3 23 watt cfls each lumens output is 1800,adding on up to 9 more soon once i get money for a few more lights!

for seedlings you need 1 of those little CFls per plant amd about the two week period you should have 2-4 of those cute lil bulbs per plant. or one or two bigger CFLs... i would think with the lowryders this would be very important since they are a naturally small and short lived plant and you dont want em to be additionally stunted.

the Joint Doctor recommends 18/6 for his auto seeds rather than 24/0

after 2 weeks of life my plants have 4 27 (real) watt CFLs on each of them and i still want more light.

keep the lights as close as possible to the plants! i place them within an inch.
wait, let me get this straight... if you fry an egg you can get fucked up?

In my indoor grow op, i use 6 42 watt cfls per plant, it works for me, with a little creativity all youll have to buy is the cfls, and maybe a few sockets.

    good luck and happy growing...
I smoke 2 blunts in the morning, I smoke 2 blunts at night, I smoke to blunts before I smoke 2 blunts, it makes me feel alright.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the replies. This isn't just a bulb but a light that you plug-in to an outlet. That's why I bought the light timer to go with it. These things cost about $10 each and the timer about $5. Would you all recommend me just return it and go to Home Depot and get something more powerful?

I do have a great spot for outdoors so I don't want to spend too much money getting them started indoors. What would you guys suggest in my situation?

most of us seem to wire up our own sockets to give ourselves more flexibility... all depends on how much work you want to put into a 2 week grow
