i was told that i should flower from about 12 inch tall is this correct ?
if i started flowering at 8 inchs tall what would happen ?

You can start then as well, I have flowered a clone that was only about 6 to 8 inches tall, 4 to 5 sets of leaves up it.

if i start them flowering smaller will the yeild be much smaller ?

Well the plant still grows once you start flowering too. I have made the istake of vegging too long and the plant grew like crazy tall, lol. I also top mine before flowering too.

All you do it cut the top right off when you have over 4 or 5 nodes and you can clone that top too if you want, lol.

You can flower from day 1 if you want. It will decrease the plants yield. You should also try some LST(low stress training) to keep your plants shorter.

A fan is better than no fan, lol. If you have a few plants, top some and not the others to see the difference. Topping will give them more than one main cola and keeps the plant bushier rather than taller.

ive got 10 plants so al top 4 of them to see the difference and al postr them in my thread so people can see the difference
