Default Sinking seed question.

i just started germing 14 seeds, half of them were hindu kush. the other 7 were my personal stash. one of the HK seeds sank right to the bottom as soon as i put that 7 into their cup. my question is is this seed dead or will it germ?? they are in small cups with water for next 18 hours or so
