Hi guys this is my first grow. Right now I am manually watering my plants. i have access to them anytime throughout the day, so it's not really a bother. But , I keep reading about all fo these self-watering systems and I was wondering if it's better to set one up.

I would have to build it myself. Purchasing online or at a hydroponic shop is not an option. However, I get really confused reading all of these different techniques.

Anyone have any suggestions? My husband is a#@ over all the spending i've been doing on lights, cabinets, ect... So, I am really looking for either a no-brainer cheap solution or I will have to keep manually watering.
