Default 12/12 to 10/14 2-3 weeks before harvest?

I've recently heard that it is good to lower the time from 12/12 to 10/14 (10 on & 14 off) 2-3 weeks before harvest . Any of you experience a burst of potency doing this? My first grow experience inside, so any input is greatly appreciated. Plants are 18 days into flower and are from good green-bud bagseed. Next year's grow will be from purchased seed stock. But I need practice first---so far so good?

Did you ever try flowering 14/10 last few weeks before harvest? Interested in the results if you did.

same 12/12 den i stick my plants in2 48 hours darkness b4 harvest to max resin ..

its 8/16....... you do this to boost resin production .. believe me it helps allot.... did with me.

All those methods above have been tryed and tryed, the only one I think might hold any truth to it may be the 24 hrs of dark before harvest.
As for me I tryed all and I just grow like we have for millions of years. 12/12 harvest after 11 hrs of dark so plant is asleep and nutes/moisture is in roots.

My last grow was flowered for 8 weeks with 12/12 and then for two more weeks with 10/14 and here are the results:

Big Bang and White Widow grow at 72 days flowering w/ pics
