Any thrifty ways to make a dehumidifier?

i've already spent close to $200 on my first operation (havent started yet), and i cant justify buying a dehumidifier.

does anyone know of some cheap ass alternatives? like are there any materials out there that naturally pull moisture out of the air?

i'm doing my grow inside of a laundry hamper, so the space is pretty confined and im only growing 1 plant at a time.

anyone? just wondering because i live in michigan, and the humidity has been all over the place this summer.

Get a cheap ($

digital temp and humidity gauge, and see what your grow area needs. Personally, I needed humidity during veg, I could only hold 35%, but thats just me. As I understand optimal for veg is 40 - 60 %, and aroud 35-45 for flower. Figure out if you really need it b4 you jump in. JMHO

I guess turning on your ac is out of the question seeing as how you live in one cold mother fuckin state. I shovel sunshine all winter long

....make a tube with a fan at one end.....fill the tube with torn up newspaper and shoot that air into the hamper...thats off the top of my head but sounds like it will work to me
