Preliminary sexing

I will do my best to get photos, but the camera that works can only get in so tight. I don't know how to take photos using my recently found jeweler's loupe (10x), along with a tiny Mag flashlight, or I would show you what I can see. I'm gonna work on pix, in the meantime, here's what I have (they're pretty weird). These were taken with a Canon DSLR (Rebel series I think), with the lens turned around for that super macro shot!

These are pretty much only of the same two or three plants, as I was experimenting with using the lens backwards like this. Also, it was rather breezy, definitely easier to look closely when there's no breeze, like in the evening, when there's no light.

Man, I was all busy puttin' up more pix, and something just HOSED. It's getting cold and late so I'm gonna be turning in for tonight. Yeah, I've found some definite males and I'm getting a good idea of how much culling I'll be doing. I have to say that I'm glad for it, as they get bigger they take up a lot more room and require more and more attention. More pix to come tomorrow, honkey.

Oh and hey, yeah, pic #2, of the first set, look on the upper right. Could those be girly hairs JUST forming? I know it's difficult, I get no depth of field using the lens this way.

it could be in the second pic...i was actually thinking I saw a pod on the left hand side of that one but didnt say anything cause I just couldnt tell. that's alright though. i will be here when the new pics hit. sleep well

Some more photos. Some of these plants aren't showing any pre-flowers at all. Others.. what they're showing is bringing me to question myself. I've tried my best to take good pix, and to keep them somewhat organized (doesn't help me if someone says, "That's a male" and I can't remember which figgin' plant it is). This is probably gonna take a little while, but I'm starting with just a couple of the plants whose sex I am uncertain about.

I am starting with Plant No. 5.

Another plant of indeterminate sex. Female? Male? Are those even pre-flowers I'm looking at? I have been looking at different nodes, and only seem to find anything that looks like pre-flowers in the more recent growth. Thusly, all these photos are of the "higher" nodes (more recently grown on the main stem/stalk).

plant five looks male....all the others are too early to determine...wait it out a bit...but the good news is males show sooner than females so...get the male out and you will probably have females left for the most part
