for my idea i have got a box with a hole in the top for my light bulb to go thru, the inside of the box is covered in tinfoil so the light will reflect off of it or something, and i have 2 ice cream pales of soil that i will put the seeds in. i will put the box over the ice cream pales and stick the light into the hole. will this setup work? does the plant smell like it does when the weed is dried out?? i am growing this under my bed so i need to know if it smells!!

how long should i keep the light on when the plant is sprouting??

18 hours on 6 hours off... though when sprouting technically doesn't need much light. I sprout my seeds using the 'paper towel" method and in between two plates and wet paper towels not much light can get through.

wat kind of light bulb are you using?

just a flouresent light bulb. i also got some other ones bet when i set them up it felt like they were giving off too much heat

i have got an extra hole in the top of the box for air is that enough to circulate the air?

maybe you can put a small fan on the side of the box.(With a hole or a couple of smaller holes on the side so the air gets in and out of the box)

if every time the plant gets too tall could i just clip buds off the top if they are ready to harvest. if they hairs in it are red does that means that you are ready to harvest?
