No it needs to be on a 12/12 cycle first. 12 hours of light 12 hours of dark. I would wait atleast untill it is 12in's tall befor you start the 12/12 well depending on how much space you have. It will double or triple in size while in flowering. Oh yea get a fan on that asap and back the lights off if you need to. It shouldnt be hot if you stick your hand right above your plant. Also it looks a tad stretched fill up your pot thing to the very top. Heres what i got so far from a cfl grow.

he could bring it back the newest set of leaves dosnt look to damaged
Personaly though i would lose the aero garden grab some high wattege cfl from home depot along with some nice miracle grow soil a 4 gallon pot and a timer. Put a fan on that baby run the lights 24/7 from sprout it should take 6ish weeks until you start flowering (12/12) another 7 or 8 weeks and your set. I dont know anything about the aero garden but it looks a little small to grow a plant.

Thats definitely enough light to get it going once it's bigger then the aero garden i would go get 2 more 42 watters and probly 2 more 32 watters. That should be enough to veg it and when you start to flower you should have a total of like 6 42 watt soft whites and you will have a dope ass plant.

I have one 42 watt sitting right on top of it. Got to be careful for the second time my light fell my baby :( only for like 2 minutes so little damage. So yea one on top the rest on the sides

I would seiously look at getting a small hps instead of the multiple CFL's. I'm running a 150 HPS that cost me less than $90, and it puts out better light for flowering (more lumens) with less total power use. I veged using 10 26W Cfls, and decided instead of buying the other light range I'd get the HPS. In hindsight I wish I'd have started with it. There's pics of my setup in my journal if you'd like.

Good Luck:joint:

PS... that 12/23/32 is a three way bulb for a lamp. Is it on 12W or 32W?

Yea by all means hps is better but you need to ether have a credit card/pay pal to get it online or live next to a hydro store cfl's are just easyer and i think the best to start your first grow with. That and where i live we have chopers flying up and down the city scanning for any weird heat cause by hps lights or mh lights.
