there like $15 and are a real carbon scrubber. my question is has anyone bought one of these. i want to rig its exhaust to blow out of a speaker box which i'm gonna do a micro grow in. it would be allot easier than rigging up a pc fan and making a carbon scrubber. would this be possible.

You have got to be fucking kidding me? How ghetto can shit get now days? People are resulting to have to use a PLUG-IN febreze air filter. This is not a real carbon scrubber. It is a fucking little fan that blows febrezes air thingys around the room and makes it smell nice. It won't work with any kind of grow. If some how you do rig it up and it actually makes a difference then I WILL stand corrected and hold a little sign saying I was wrong. Until then...quit being cheap.

do you have to grow in a tiny speaker cabinet? that's the first thing you should ask yourself....and you can build a charcoal filter that pushes 120cfps for about 60 bucks....do some more homework on it

this will be my first indoor grow and i want to keep things cheap.i just want some experience before i move onto bigger things. by the way this is a real carbon scrubber,and i can get it at walmart. it will be a cfl grow. i like the idea of a cheap totally stealth micro grow, so that's why I'm growing it in a speaker box.

For the same price you could set up an "ona gel dispenser"---You could set it up in under 10mins-----take lid off container---run tube from speaker to top of container/tape with duck-tape-------drill holes around side of ona container above gel level-------your done------you now have a mini ona scrubber.

By the way these are real carbon filters. They have a replaceable carbon filter that will last about 6-8 weeks. They do a great job for small closet grows. I use 3 of them and you cant smell a thing and the plus is you dont need an seperate fan as the small 3 inch fan in each of these devices does a great job as well. You can buy these at home depot for about $10 and the replacement filters are aound $5. FYI buy the type that doesnt have the nightlight.

FYI, a ona gel bucket is only $30 and your room will smell like clean laundry.

I'm gonna just grow outside. this would be way to hard to hide, but when i do get my own place I'll probably use the fabreze carbon scrubber and this speaker box i have gutted. it's real hard to restrain myself since joining this site though. i already have like 20 plants in a guerilla grow so i'll take your advice and just chill.
