oh by exhaust fan, I mean, I just got a normal fan that draws the air outa tha case, just so I have air constantly comin through, I found it works better for me than having the intake fan, but I do plan to put another small fan in there to go on my plants. you don't need them pointing at the bulb, or rather I don't, it'll be different for ur set up, but heat shouldnt be that big of a problem. When I do new set ups, or change my fan/light set up, I usually run it for an hour or so w/out the plants in it so I can check how hot it will get w/out messn the plants up.

Ok..Ill be frank,Tony.What is the hand down best light I can buy?Of the two choices,which one would you buy?A 10,000lumen T-5,or a small 150W HPS??If I buy the HPS..I might prolly veg under it...do plants grow nice and green under a HPS?Ive heard that plants like the ultra blue spectrum for veggin'!!

why don't you make a different spot for vegging? I use cfl's for my veg. period, then putm in my other spot for flowering

just get yourself a prewired rig. no sense in burining your place down. 150hps can take you through your whole grow...but you won't get 10 or 15 plants under it. it will grow you pretty plants...trust me...this is my 150 set up

Dammmmm!!Those are some ncie plants for such a small lamp!!However,it seems you like to grow your plants big and natural...I prefer growing in a small SOG setup...with very little veg time and a good indica strain.Considering my future growin' technique,I should be able to fit maybe 10-15 small plants under the HPS right??By small I mean all female clones,in small square pots in coco coir...Where I only focus on growing the top main colas of the plants..so they dont bush out at all,and only reach 1-2FT tall!!Sounds good??!!!!

rule of thumb for a SOG is 1 plant per square foot. you could probably get away with it...I started 11 plants under this one...I only expected to end up with five girls tops...unfortunately I only got three girls out of the bunch...check them out

Dude..thats xactly how my SOG will look..with a few more plants,and maybe smaller pots...Ima grow in coco coir/perlite/manure....cant wait to finally smoke some homegrown !!Dammit!!lol

Nice bro...that will be awesome! in the pots from the second pic I got them a few feet tall before I sent them into 12/12 so I know that you can have an awesome garden...just make sure they get lots of light. I use six four foot fluoros also. but anyway...with three gallon pots I think you could do it. and it sounds like you wanna grow some tasty shit...mm mmm

Damn..lets hope my plants never get THAT big lol..you never know what happens..and I prefer having to dispose of alot of small plants insteAd of a few huge plants..Anyways,I have one last question...when I start my plants,should I veg them in 24 hours light ??Or shoukd I veg them under 18/6??Which is best?
