Has anybody used fruit to re-moisten old nug? And if so, is their any downsides to it?

Its been a bazillion years (give or take a jilion years) But I've used oragne peels in a bag.

Downsides? possible mold.

Thanks for the reply, I've done it to lowgrade herb and seen postive results, but I'm more concerned about THC levels falling. Do you or anybody know about this?

Only shooting from the hip, but maybe the less acidic fruits might be best, and little disruption. I have heard of just a lettuce leaf.
