LISTEN SONNY I PROVIDED A ANSWER TO A QUESTION"PROPER WAY TO MAKE SINGLE COLA PLANTS" I AND PROOF IN PICS. YOU PROVIDE A UNPROVEN THEROY AND FIGHT TO THE DEATH TO BACK IT UP AND YOUR WRONG. CRAMMING THEM TOGETHER WILL ONLY INSURE MORE UNDER DEVELOPED BUDS NOT SINGLE COLAS ITS NOW BLARING OBVIOUS YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH CULTAVATION OF MARIJUANA. SO THAT GOSE
'OUT THE WINDOW"

You said to keep the plant at 5 nodes-I countered it by stating that I have had many cola structured plants without doing what you said. If you dont think that keeping plants closer together will help tower them out then fine- you have that right. As far as saying I have no experience with MJ, well you go ahead and keep thinking that. Your caps and piss poor attitude are enough for most people to see you for what you are.

Well, why ya'll are at it, what d'ya reckon the main advantage(s) of growing a single, probably huge, cola is?
I'm guessing there'd be a few, like more space, etc . . .
For what it's worth, the plant in this pic has spent most of it's budding life (42 days) with the leaf tips touching it's neighbor(s), despite my efforts to minimize this situation.

I think both shamegame & the rude guy are correct, both methods are correct because both tell the plant to focus more resources on the main cola.

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

nice butt chin dude. Please stop hijacking the threads around here with your negative posts. I wanted to know because I have a 25 site aero jet and it is only 4x4 so as you can see the plants will be very very close to each other. No room for branches. I don't want to mess up. So do you strip everything off the stem or leave the small nodes?

ok guys its really easy the more plants you have the more light you need. for example in a 4x4 room youll need 800 watts minimum to grow 6-8 plants. now can you fit in 12 plants sure but that means under developed buds a plenty why you ask it easy cramming plants together means less lumens per plant which leads to under developed buds. so less space less plants or more verry small plants . if you want single colas then flower at 8 inches or less. you may not like it cause its not the idea you had in mind but its fact.

mabey you can guess why but just in case you cant. YOUR LIGHT IS TOO HIGH AND YOUR PLANTS STRETCH.
ALSO SATIVAS GROW TALLER AND LANKYIER ANY WAY. BUT FOR THE 3RD TIME. THE WAY TO GET SINGLE COLA PLANTS IS TO INDUCE FLOWER WHEN YOUR PLANT IS 8 INCHES OR UNDER
I have plants now that were forced with under 8 inches, and some of them grew side branches. It cant be the light stretch because i grow under a 1000w mh, and it is less than 24 inches from the tops. They also have more than 5 nodes. I have cut the branching from the bottom 1/3, of the plants. Can you tell me why inducing flowering in a plant eight inches or under would cause it to only grow one cola?

mh is not the proper spectrum or have the same lumen discharge as hps. when inducing flower. and you must be early in flower cause you will see it grow into 1 cola. but mh will give you lighter airy buds. why do it?

Hmmm.. I have seen SINGLE Kola Plants in person before. They had just the main stalk, not one other branch and one big COLA. It was called Lolly-Popping. Can not remember everything he said on how to do it. But he flowered early, and clipped all the branches off when they got about one inch long, but not to close to the main stock. It looked cool as hell. About 25 nice big COLA sticking up all over the place with no branches and little shit branches. I thought hard about giving it a try. But I was afraid I would screw it up and get shit for a yield.

As for keeping plants close together so the grow taller. Hmmm. does not seem like a good idea. Any branch that is not getting light is energy that is wasted, you might as well clip that branch off. I now get the same amount of buds from 4 plants as I used to with 8 plants, in the same amount of time, and with way less work at harvest time. I would love to have a room full of single cola plants, Harvest time would be so dam easy.

I do not have single cola plants, but when I go into flowering stage, I clip off all the lower branch that the top of is not at least half way to the top of the plant, then I position the plants so that ALL of the branches get plenty of light, I also thin out the BullShit small branches and crap, inside the plant, to allow light in there where the strong branches are. If i made Bubble hash, honey oil or canna butter, I would let the lower branches alone, But i only want the nice big juicey buds. I even have the Bubble bags, and Honey Oil Extractor. I only use the extractor now, and that is not very often.

This is just one of many ways to grow weed. To each his own. Now everyone sit the fuck down and smoke a big fatty.

I remembered the main reason I never lolly-popped plants. Because to get the same yield you need more plants. They sentence on number of plants. So why grow 20 plants, when I can grow 4 and get the same amount of bud. But I would love to give it a try.

They put a value of $1,000 on each plant, No matter if it will yield 1/4 OZ or 6 OZ's. So I have been shooting for bigger yields per plant, and keeping fewer plants.

yo original sinner i got this one for you: Ravioli, original sinner wants to say that ur an idiot, he's smart, and his is way better.

Well.. I mean.. There was no condescension.. I'm just saying that's what I bought mine for. I want no part in the hostility! This is supposed to be a peaceful place for... ya know... Adults? I'm sure there are different methods to produce single cola plants... Why is everyone bickering about who's right? Does anyone have any actual scientific proof? If so, I'd love to see it, but until then just smoke a bowl and forget about this thread. :joint:
