White Russian Light Cycle?

I'm growing White Russian in a little mini cab I made under a little 150 watt HPS. So far it has been the easiest plant I have ever grown. They auto flowered in about 3-4 weeks under 24 hours of light (5 female 5 male). I have since turned the lights to 12/12. My question is would they do better under 24 hours of light to the end? By better would the overall yield/quality be better. I appreciate any help

(and yes i understand a 150 watt is weak but its a little side project that so far is working out great)
