by 5200 are you referring to the btu rating?

you can probably find out the efficiency rating by doing a simple google search for the manufacturer name and model #

ac units start at 89 dollars for the smallest models.....I would think even the smallest well placed would keep room nice and cool

im buying a portable one soon and its gonna run me $300. You can get a simple window air conditioner for 200. And thats new. you can also get one off craigslist for cheaper.

oh, the one im getting is a 9000. its the only inexpensive one i can get locally. Where did you see the unit for 89 bucks? was it an evaporative cooler, because if it is then i think that is different than a/c? Do you have a web link?

ok ill post it again.........the 89 dollar 5000 btu was at wolly world this one is still under 100 dollars with a 5 yr warranty.....

i have seen a few for 100 bucks and a little under. i got one free from my buddy at an appliance store for a few buds. now i am not going outside in the 100 degree heat.
