so im using paper towels to germ a bean and its taken like 2 1/2 days to get its foot out the shell. can this still be a fast growing vigorous plant?

Vigorous? maybe...Fast growing? probably not..are U growin a sativa strain? Sativas generally take longer to germ and longer to grow than indica plants, but the good thing is that they are also more disease resistant, heat stress resistant and more tolerant of critters than indicas are. So give it time it'll work out in the end...I'd prefer a sativa high over an indica high anyday..

i think the only sativa im harboring (i think) is jack herer. but who knows maybe its one of the hybrids

shit, it doesn't tell anything about how that plant will do later on. it sometime takes a bit longer because the walls of the seed are so thick, it the real fighter which emerges from this ones

i like to think of it like that too. the seed was hard as crap.

its coming out now though. the tip is starting to go tan so im gonna put it in soil. dont want it to mold or die. (the tip is like 1-2 cm)

well see what happens

you don't have to wait that long to planting the seedling as soon as it shows you which way is down plant it
