alright, so here's whats up: i just finished my second ghetto grow and am yet again dissappointed with the results. used shotty soil and my nutes were cheap, and mostly guesswork, and yield/quality reflected this. i am looking for a good soil mix, and veg and bloom nutes, preferably organic, but not limited to. what do you other soil growers use?? miraclegro organic and home depot nutes are getting old.

I think its called black gold, great organic soil rich in nutrients, my plant loved it.

what kind of nutrients did you use??

egg shells, guano, worm casting and the like. i forget all the special ingreds

yep Im using black gold. I found it at fred meyers but Im sure its sold elsewhere (probably most gardening places). my plants love it. and its about the same cost as MG. it was $10 for a big ass bag for me.

for nutes... I Just bought Technaflora recipe for success kit. which is a good start kit since it comes with everything you will need from veg to bloom, but other brands of nutes are Fox Farm and Advanced Nutrients. you wont find any of these at walmart or the hardware store. try nurseries and grow shops if you dont want to buy online. heres the technaflora:

im using this as my soil ... u may not wanna take my advice since im new but this seems like good soil to me ... here it is : 1 part peat moss. .5 part perlite, 1 part cow manure, blood and bone meal with some corn cob ashes (high is potash). hopefully this will be a good soil mix for them ... for nutes im getting some schultz and ace hardware nutes (schultz is 30-10-10 ace is 10-54-10)

Ya i actually have no idea whats in it... LOL, i just named shit that came to mind, but i do remember egg shells, peat moss, and manure of some kind. I use Neptune organic fish emulsion and kelp extract. Thats both in one.

mines not really hardcore organic
