I thought a would start a thread on how to not get busted. If any of you know someone who got busted please tell us how so that others won't make the same mistake. I've never been busted myself but I know a couple of people who have.

1) Friend was selling pot to his old girlfriend. She wanted to buy some but he was out and didn't want to sell his stash. She got mad and turned him in.
Busted...

2) Friend decided to put his plant outside on second story balcony to get fresh air and sunlight. Cops drive by and and see it.
Busted...

These are true stories!

Same thing, friend got into fight with girlfriend she turned him in for selling weed! What a bitch!

theres only 2 rules to not getting busted... and everyone should know them already. if they dont they really shouldnt be growing.

first rule: DONT TELL ANYONE YOU'RE GROWING besides people who live in your home there is no reason anyone else needs to know. they may be your closest friend and you may have all the trust in the world for them, but the second you have a disagreement theres a chance they may revolt against you and thats the perfect ammo for anyone who is angry. i know its hard not to want to brag about how great you are at growing weed, but unfortunately you'll just have to bottle it up and celebrate it with yourself or the people you live with.

rule number two: dont get greedy and grow hundreds/thousands of plants. yes.... some people never get caught but you greatly increase your chances of getting caught because of odor control issues and additionally if your state feels like launching heat seeking helicopters and they happen to fly by you may be in trouble.

Not to be a pain but if the idea is not to tell anybody, is it such i good idea to be using this site?

No one here really poses too much of a threat.There are a few "high rollers", but the rest of us just grow personally. They're not going to launch an investigation into someone growing 5-10 plants. It's not worth the time or effort. They want the 100+ plant bust.

that and we don't actually know each other, with a few exceptions..... so it's not like we''re telling people, it anonymous for the most part....... i mean think about it... how excited about growing are you????? cause I'm stoked as hell, and to not be able to talk to ANYONE about it would just suck and drive me nuts......

i don't i know a lot of crack heads and when they cut my yard i tell them not to cut the weed plants. but i say u grow next to a tree or busies or something thats how i started

my buddy was selling and decided to stop selling to this one chick because she was sketch, she got pissed and narced him out.
