| | Im having SERIOUS problems please help | | I am having SERIOUS growing issues and I am not new to growing I have grown plants a few times all with sub par equipment and now I have the best of everything and nothing is going right.
Let me state my stats first
Temp: 70-76
RH: roughly 60% fairly constantly
Soil: Professional mix containing perlite, vermiculte, peat moss, and dolomite lime.
Nutrients: Fox Farm trio
Lighting: 6500K temp 4' floro tubes and also 400 watt with cool tube
Water: Have used tap which is around 7.8 ph, drinking water at 6.0 and now i am trying another drinking water at 70
My problem is my seedlings are growing EXTREMELY slow and they are curling HORRIBLY after 10 days since sprout seedlings are at most 1" tall. This has happened my last 4 trys. Curling almost like a spiral, water once maybe twice a week drainage is good. Last time I checked a few of them and when pulled out of soil, root system is minimal like it almost stopped growing after germ, leaves look badly stunted, again curling horribly sorry as i cannott better pics. I have tried many different configurations with soils, water, nutrients, temps. I am having these problems that i have never seen with little effort at all. I need some serious help. I have also used mutliple different bag seeds, tried some without germing anyone using this system with a better idea. Thanks in advance

Your problem appears to be water quality. You need consistant 6.0 ph. If that is off, the nutrients cannot be properly absorbed. Keep the floro tubes about 6 inches from the plant surface. Nothing works unless the lumens hit the plant surface. |

| | put your tap water outside for 24 hours before using it.
its worked fine for me.
and im using terrible soil (miracle grow)
and mediocre nutes.
havent run into any problems. my sprouts were about 4 inches in 6 days.
now they are all 6+ inches tall with 30-50 leaves and Im only 20 days into veg. |
