Hi, I'm kind of new to the indoor scene but I would like to learn ways to regenerate a plant after its been harvested, something the outdoor grower never gets to do. I haven't harvested yet and I am guessing there is a specific way to harvest if you plan to regenerate your plant. I understand the whole concept of putting it back into 18/6 or 24 light cycle to force it back into vegetative stage.
So I guess what I'm asking is how i should go about cutting her down for a new growth and anything else I should know.
any help would be great

No, 12/12 will induce flowering and the plant should have already been on that during flowering. Force it to 18/6 or 24/0.

...I think all you do is this:

1.snip off most of the buds but leave some on for re-vegging
2.Water
3.Add nutes
4.revert back to 18/6 light cycle

its that easy. i've regenerated plants before they get extremely bushy.i had one for almost three years the thing was twisty and spindly bushy as hell and somewhat mutated. i harvested 5 times in the 3 yrs i grew it. it does take a while to get new growth going so dont be discouraged .one day i had it out in my yard and someone tied my dog to her leash outside and she got tangled in it when i wasn't home. later i went to check on my plant and my dog was running back and forth and my plant was being dragged all screwed up RUINED!
